) Lovell Smith (my early candidate for POY in the YAC) showed why he is just that, with 35 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams shot a ton of free throws which indicates a slow paced game which is not what the Bengals like to do, BUT nonetheless they are battle tested in an early season at home. I too have always advocated for a tougher non-conference D3 schedule for the Bengals, but nobody wants to come play at the Sports Arena (no idea why, largest crowds, best facilities etc). When the Bengals do go on the road for out of state tourneys, they haven't lost a game in 6 years (unlike other teams in the YAC)! Plattsburgh put up 121 on Elms which was the biggest shock of the weekend to me, and Brockport is off to an early 2-0 year. Enjoy the upcoming holiday gentlemen! Touch base with y'all in a week or so! Law Firm out.
