You know guys it feels great to be back on the D3 Hoops blog. I mean the blog made The Law Firm a legend. But you know something, something happened. And then The Magic Man turned his back on me. The Magic Man drove me out of the blog. I'm the reason all you people are here. I'm the one who put the blog on the map. I'm the one who made the blog as big as it is today. There's nobody in this business that's a bigger icon than I am. I'm the biggest star past or present in the D3 Hoops world today. And they'll never ever be a bigger star than "Hollywood" Law Firm!!!

MAGIC MAN! I have had enough. It is no secret I am a supporter of a certain team in the SUNYAC. I can no longer take you bashing my team, and not holding your team to the same standard. How dare you sir. How dare you put our name in the same breath as Fredonia (no disrespect). Play by the rules, when Plattsburgh looses, the fans want a write up, and a legit one not "I swear he had 20 rebounds. The announcers doing the game said the same thing over and over. They thought he had a dozen at halftime when he was only credited with 6. They were amazed that a guy of Jon's height was, time and again, getting the boards despite being shorter than most of the guys under the hoop." I, hell WE won't stand for it anymore! You throw my team under the bus and are very quick to dismiss and undermine us, but go into hiding and make excuses when the cards loose. You bet your ass a floppy slice is coming your way after a loss this year!!

Happy holidays gentlemen, peace and love. Law Firm out

But what Greek Tragedy? BengalsRule - I also thought Grayer posted the stats to give him the nod, but I feel that he will get it down the road if he continues to shoot the ball so well. Bengals fought this weekend, played some tough opponents and I see a lot of new names on this roster, good to see they are meshing well. This may come off as biased, but with those Bengals being the team I support, I feel that some folks here are looking past them (eh hem, Magic one) and writing their post season off before conference play begins. BIG MISTAKE. Plattsburgh holding it down for the YAC, keeping their record unbeaten and ranking. Did notice a familiar name on a new roster this year, Quin Carey transferred from Geneseo to Oswego could prove to be HUGE for the Lakers and Jason Corleone, I mean Leone ;-) Just having some fun guys be good and happy thanksgiving to all

Greetings all! Welcome back to another year of what should be some good hoops! Please forgive me I have been out of touch for a while, but fear not I am back and looking forward to the YAC'! Magic Man - can I have your take on who should be the team(s) to beat in the early portion of the year? Bengalsrule, how are the boys looking up there in Buffalo? And to all my other fellow friends with connections to their respective programs, can you provide some insights? Thanks all! Peace and Light

After looking at the box score from the Bengals trip to Plattsburgh I noticed something...something I foreshadowed a few days ago...something about, home cookin' was it? Although the fouls were called pretty evenly (27 for Buffalo State 30 for Plattsburgh) that doesn't negate the fact that there were 57 foul calls in the game...Ill let that sink in...57! Happy to see the BENGALS get the win! Was also surprised to see the Magicmans Cards drop a home bout to Fredonia, which makes it 5 Losses in a row now? Ay Caramba what is going on in Cardinal land! Nonetheless, the Bengals improve with another quality win and prepare for a big week in the Yac'. The Magicmans cards had a lot of fun at the expense of the Bengals in the past, but not this time! I was fortunate enough to catch a game last year but had my heart broken when the Cards stuck a dagger into the heart of the BENGALS in Buffalo via a game winning shot. So this was revenge. Ok im done! BOY THE YAC JUST GOT INTERESTING. Be good.

Couldn't agree more! Financial aid is a #$%^& and often is unjust, hope the Governor can pull this off. In terms of hoops, its been a while since my last appearance and it may have to stay that way with Buffalo States latest victories in Florida! I would hate to jinx them! They get a chance at some revenge this weekend against a Plattsburgh team who always seems to have a little homecookin' (opps did I say that out loud? ^.^). Would be a major win and some momentum going into the major stretch of the season. Anybody familiar with Plattsburghs live stream system? Happy new years to you gentlemen, be good and GO BENGALS.

Peace

Gentlemen! As the YAC' kicks off this weekend let me be the first to say good luck to all! You will come to find that I am not so supportive of other teams around the conference, and am a firm believer that a little trash talk never hurt nobody 😉 It's all in good fun! Boy oh boy, do those bengals look primed for a special run! I am sure I speak for all fellow Bengal fans when I say thank you for your gracious projections and predictions, but the buck stops Friday when Plattsburgh travels to Buffalo for a heavyweight bout. I believe the cards and Johnathon Patron are in for a rude awakening this Friday and won't be able to match the Bengals speed and aggression (the Benagls are also out for revenge, especially on Plattsburgh!) so Magicman I say this, sorry in advance! Buff state wins convincingly this Friday! And to your point about a starter missing the game, Buffalo State played a game without veteran leader and starting gaurd Nico McLean earlier this year on the road and were able to win by 20, next man up no excuses!  catch up with you guys soon!  peace and love.

Nice weekend for my Bengals (yours too "Bengals Rule"  ;) ) Lovell Smith (my early candidate for POY in the YAC) showed why he is just that, with 35 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams shot a ton of free throws which indicates a slow paced game which is not what the Bengals like to do, BUT nonetheless they are battle tested in an early season at home. I too have always advocated for a tougher non-conference D3 schedule for the Bengals, but nobody wants to come play at the Sports Arena (no idea why, largest crowds, best facilities etc). When the Bengals do go on the road for out of state tourneys, they haven't lost a game in 6 years (unlike other teams in the YAC)! Plattsburgh put up 121 on Elms which was the biggest shock of the weekend to me, and Brockport is off to an early 2-0 year. Enjoy the upcoming holiday gentlemen! Touch base with y'all in a week or so! Law Firm out.

Magicman- WOW, you nearly predicted the exact score of that Buffalo State game! The Bengals roared in their debut and had some nice contributions across the board. Maine Fort Kent will be no walk in the park and should prove to be a heavyweight bout Friday night at the Sports Arena. I see that Oswego lost their opener, and Plattsburgh got a great game out of Jonathon Patron, who is proving to be a fine player in this league. Basketball season is upon us gentlemen, best of luck to all and a happy birthday to "Magicman"  ;D

Magicman, I am a proud alum of The Buffalo State College! Big Bengal supporter and fan of the hoops program over there, I have a feeling that "bengals rule" and I will get along just fine 😉. I had a chance to catch some games last year and meet some of the buffalo state staff, they were quality gentlemen! They are returning 5 starters this year and have a seasoned group of veterans in the rotation, I expect a special year from them! Will be interesting to see how some other teams adjust to life with new players and coaches, big ups to my man Cameron on the Oneonta job! He is a fine addition to the program and had much success at SUNY Plattsburgh. Thanks for the endorsement Magicman! Much appreciated!
