Never underestimate your competition, my friend. More battles are lost because of it.
The Falcons will come to play with gusto. Count on it, pal.
I hope the Blue Phantoms show up.

ALBERTUS MAGNUS COLLEGE HAS SHOCKED THE D-3 WORLD!

AMC: 83
St. Joseph: 79

Falcons are going to the NCAA tournament after a gutsy win over the #1 team in the nation!
Pride wins out on the West Hartford court.

:)A great win tonight for Albertus Magnus College over Emmanuel College. Kevin Crawford w/21 points &
Terry Dawkins w/27 points & 12 boards led the way.
NEXT UP: GNAC CHAMPIONSHIP VS ST. Joseph of West Hartford on Sunday.
No one will give the Falcons a chance to beat the Blue Jays, the number 1 team in the nation.
AMC has heart & they will play St. Joes very tough. If they play the better defense, they will
               SHOCK THE D-3 WORLD!!!!

GOOD LUCK, FALCONS ON SUNDAY!

Excellent performances by Albertus Magnus vs Middlebury & St. Joe`s- Maine.
The results a win & a loss, but what bodes well for the Falcons is their collective
tenacity on defense! This team has no star players, but with the aforementioned
good defense they can compete with anyone.
AMC will struggle scoring against the better teams, in particular in the half court.
That said, Justice Washington & Terry Dawkins, can be a load in the paint. If Davon
Warner can find his stroke from 3 this offense might finally start to cook.
Next game is HUGE as a MUCH IMPROVED Anna Maria team invades THE NEST this
Wednesday, December 8.
LET`S GO, MEN!

Well, Albertus Magnus College beat Keene State, 84-81. AMC was led by Tyreek Perkins with 24 pts.,
including a big 3 & 4 free throws in a row late! Justus Washington had 14 pts. & 10 boards & was a
FORCE in the paint!
Qualon Wilkes, our point guard, had a solid game on both sides of the ball.
TEAM STATS:

49 Rebounds & 15 assists (which is a sight better than their first game!)

Next game: MIDDLEBURY @ home on 12/2/21.

Well , the Albertus Magnus College Falcons beat Rutgers-Camden, 71-69.
I thought it was a poor performance, even for the first game of the season.
The most distressing stats were FOUR ASSISTS for the ENTIRE TEAM & 20+
TURNOVERS.
Shoutout to : Justus Washington, 16 pts. & the winning layup with 2 seconds left
& to Tyreek Perkins for calmly sinking 2 free throws to tie the game.

A Lot of work needs to be done in one week before the home opener vs KEENE STATE!

I can only comment on the Albertus Magnus College Falcons. They have a lot of work to do, but they
have the potential to dominate the GNAC again!  Why?
Well, Tyreek Perkins is back for a graduate year & he is a stud #2 guard.
Terry Dawkins is a solid veteran presence @ the #4.
Center is a little uncertain, unless Justus Washington can improve on both sides of the ball.
Now for the keys to success:
KEVIN CRAWFORD is our new point guard & has the potential to be better than Eian Davis.
If he can play under control, he will be the key to the Falcon`s success!
ERIC BURGOS ,out of Manchester High School, is a wing/#2 guard who can contribute immediately.
Last, but not least, Devon Warner is our deadly outside threat from 3 who can change a game himself!
Mitch Oliver will have this team on top or competing for it, COUNT ON IT!

I agree that safety is paramount & I also would also expect more personal discipline so that
they could achieve their desire to play hoops.
As far as Mitch Oliver`s opportunity, it`s about time this great coach gets recognized for all that
he has accomplished.
Here`s expecting games to be played; come on men!

AMC RECRUITING NEWS:

Well Folks, we have some "Steak"! My little birdie has told me that Mitch Oliver`s squad will include:

1. Kevin Crawford- 2018-19 CT All State point guard from Bassick High- Bridgeport, CT.
My son & I saw this young man "light it up" @ the JCC Schoolboy Classic 2 years ago.
He could be the point guard we`ve been seeking since Eian Davis left!
2.Jordan Williams- Notre Dame Prep-West Haven, CT. (Career High School)
3. Eric Diaz - no information.

Hoops- SOON ENOUGH!

Great job, GNACBIAS! Very well researched & presented! I really can`t argue with any of your awards
as your reasoning was excellent!!
NOW for 2021.....a little birdie just told me, AMC will be taking the floor shortly!!!! Probably Mid-February.
No fans, but we`ll be able to see it I would imagine.
HOPE YET, PEOPLE...KEEP YOUR COLLECTIVE CHIN UP!

AMC Hoops- recruiting news- The Falcons have added an athletic forward in Rahsen Fisher- Trinity Catholic- Stamford, CT.
6`,5" forward runs the floor really well & is a strong rebounder. Typical Flying Falcon who finishes strong at the rim!
More when I receive it!

ALBERTUS MAGNUS COLLEGE: NEW RECRUIT: Ta-Zhon Daniels- point guard(5-9) out of HILLHOUSE-NEW HAVEN
1st Team All State- 15 pts./ 6 assists/3 steals/5 rebs. per game! Congrats, young man!
See you in the fall, God willing!

St. Joe`s is playing @ Springfield College? What a Joke! Tell me, the "powers to be" didn`t kiss Calhoun`s large ARSE!
I don`t ever want to hear that favorites aren`t played by the selection committee.

Congrats to ST. Joe`s for the GNAC championship. Good Luck in the NCAA tournament.

As for my Falcons, Thank you for a GREAT SEASON. YOU NEVER QUIT!
Set your goals for later this year- another GNAC TITLE. (you just missed by 4 points)
