Saw that the Bucs (no strangers to having D3FB players on their team) invited Tufts QB Alex Snyder to their UDFA tryout next weekend in Tampa.
Good luck to the kid, but he wasn't even the best QB on his own team, never mind the NESCAC.....
The QB coach in Tampa is an Eph '96 or '97 guy.... I'm sure he'll figure that out quickly.

Tufts started winning because they have a coach who gets it. Wesleyan did the same thing. Coaching matters.Quote from: Reader1 on April 25, 2017, 01:06:19 PM
I would hate to be a coach. You're gone if you don't win 80% of the games. Aren't we getting a little overboard with our expectations? Isn't Colby investing some $200 million on totally new athletic facilities? The AD is leaving to be closer to family in another state. Nothing devious here. And another great AD will be hired. The College is doing great, in athletics as well as academics.
My son played at Tufts and heard from a buddy who played at Colby that said they are currently trying to renovate many of their already existing facilities. I don't know to what degree things will be changed and how much they will invest into their different sports but there is expected to be some upgrades coming in the near future.
