They head home Saturday night. It's also final week I believe. Makes sense for the school to bring them home not only for their academics, but also reduces the chances of trouble in Texas. I think the NCAA covers the flights, but the schools have to pay for the housing/meals

58 man rosters during playoffs. What's disappointing though is that the guys who aren't suited up can't be on the sideline either. Kind of sucks for this guys who have been hard all year

The announcer calling out UWW's character seems more like a sour grapes than anything else. I don't think anyone on the UWW staff or team cares about what the guy in the booth says or how he says it. Besides, it's probably nothing worse than we've heard from our own gameday announcers.
Against Dubuque (38-6), Oles and Demark had five total pass attempts. MGS (73-0), Oles had five. Eau Claire (45-0), one total. RF (44-7), three total. Stout (40-10), one. Looks to me that the UWW staff are doing a great job of not letting things get out of hand.
If the Stout announcer wants to talk classless, he really should look into his own stands and find that women (using the term very loosely) who sounded like a drunk sailor on leave. You could head that wretched woman all the way in the parking lot.

Broughton is really nice young man. Had the opportunity to meet him during parents weekend. His video talents are awesome, but he can still twist just about anyone into a pretzel if he wants.

Just the Stats- Although I understand your point that UWW is most comfortable in pistol, which means a shotgun snap, I don't agree that's necessarily the best answer as to why to use it. It's simple, two things can go wrong in shotgun, bad snap or dropped snap. We saw both happen last year. Yes, we also saw problems with direct snap. That said, and it's just my opinion, it's a coaching issue. I simply cannot accept the explanation that Cole is bad under center and therefore, we will only shotgun. There are many scenarios we can all imagine that a direct snap is very beneficial. Cole should practice taking direct snaps until his hands bleed.
I believe we first agreed to something like this his freshman year and every year since. It's still amazing to me how a college QB can have hands like stone feet when he's up under center. AND his coaches don't seem to do anything to try to change that.
You really need to find something else BooBoo. All this bitching can't be healthy for you. I'm sure there is a needle point class down there in Florida that would love some of your constructive criticism.

Nope. Still don't see how you can compare MGS to North Texas or BYU after the first series. Your opinion. No issues.

3 and out, no yards for UWW to begin game. This Club team plays like a D1 school.
North Texas State, BYU - take your pick.

I don't have the answers either, but I sure enjoy sounding as if I do. UWL is better at QB than the rest of the WIAC. They got one year to get it done, IMO, then they'll fall back in line behind UWW. I also think it serves UWO to have a full N-C slate with real opponents this season to get MacCudden (presuming he doesn't greyshirt) up to speed. That kid's gonna be a difference maker.
Hope they're all enjoying """spring""" practice. Oy.
Is UWL's QB returning next season? Heard he graduated and is off to law school.

Agreed. I believe Coach Bullis wasn't officially hired until March, and Coach Smith after that. However, I also think not having a coach in place during this time has a negative affect on players on the bubble in their choice of school/program. Not to mention the returning players pre-season prep.

According to Knutson, Garzarelli confirmed it so I'm assuming they had some form of communication. Team leaders were told on Tuesday.

I think it will have a positive affect on the recruiting. Younger coach. Recent success at UWL. I know the returning players are excited and I'm sure that will translate into a positive recruiting experience.
