Have we ever had 2 CC teams make the playoffs in the same year?  It would be nice to see it happen this year.  Red Devils need to win tomorrow or it does not matter.

Hopkins is ranked #10 in the South region.  If they win the CC and the AQ, that will bump out one of the top 8 ranked teams.  W&J?  Dickinson?

yeah I will do Playoff Pick Em. Also, I feel Dickinson has a very good shot at getting an at large bid. They have to win this weekend first so it is not realistic until then. As far as ECAC goes I am prety sure Dickinson is not apart of that this year.(All sports) So if there is not at large then season over. That should be enough to get the boys ready to play Sat. It should be a really good game in Carlisle.
Red Devil, what happened w/ D'son and the ECAC?  I'd be interested in knowing why they took themselves out of consideration for an ECAC bowl birth?

Dickinson gets ready to play for a Jug against Gettysburg

Old, just for the record, D'son and G'burg play for an old oaken bucket (of some sort).  It got a little warped in the late '80s when D'son won it back after a long. long absence.  Apparently, some liquids were dispensed into it and then imbibed from it.

Maybe he got caught sleeping w/ a cheerleader, secretary, or player.

Felus went to high school about 45 minutes from Juniata (Penn Cambria) and played at the school formerly known as Western Maryland.  He's probably as good a fit for that program as they will find.

Muledaddy, you are alienating the rest of the CC fans on this board.  I would love to root for the Mules to represent the CC deep into the play-offs, but you are making it hard.  I would also love to pray for your son to be able to play thru the end of the season, but you make that hard also.

You are close to riding your mule train alone.

MuleDaddy,

I like your passion, and I will root for your Mules like they are my own team if they beat the Red Devils.  It would be nice to see a CC team go far into the play-offs.  However, I am not sure how realistic it is to think a CC team will ever make it to Salem (or even to the semis, for that matter).  That is not a knock on the quality of football in the CC, but more a testament to the academic and financial demands of most schools w/in the conference.

I'm loving all the positive vibes for the Red Devils.  As nice as it is to see a CC team ranked so highly and in the national limelight, it would be even nicer to see a huge Dickinson upset.  Wearin' the RED, baby!

With Dickinson playing McDaniel this weekend, it has made me wonder...  Remember when McDaniel was WMC, and they used to win games?  What happened to all their annoying fans who used to post messages on this board?

WESLEY over Widener( Delaware Valley shocked Wesley last week, can't see them going 0-2)

When did Wesley or Widener join the Centennial Conference?

Hey you can not finish on a tie.. You must have a tie breaker.

Here it is ... Has any team East of Ohio, North of Maryland, since 1990 won DIV III title game??? If so who?

It seems that ice hockey, lacrosse, and wrestiling are the prominent D1 sports sponsored by D3 institutions.

LaSalle struggled, in my mind, because they were classified as D1-AA, yet they could not offer scholarships.  In fact, they were not even able to match the need-based financial aid packages that the D3 schools were offering to their football recruits.

The answer to the attendance question is that every college over-inflates their attendance for every home game.

As far as G'gurg getting an ECAC bid over Ursinus, I am guessing that is entirely due to G'burg beating Ursinus head to head.

Waynesburg at Dickinson and Gettysburg at Carnegie Mellon.
