I saw Logan Hansen post a Way Too Early Top 25 for 2025 on X that's not taking into account graduations/transfers & he listed St John's as #3 & Bethel at #7. Impressive for our two squads, but then counting up the 6 WIAC schools that made the list brings us back to earth. The rest of the MIAC is just not good.

Looking ahead to the fall, how does anyone see St John's looking? Looks like we have two open dates yet to be filled with non-conference opponents. Obviously the toughest test of the conference slate will be traveling to Arden Hills to face Bethel in the third conference tilt of the season. How different will our squad (& theirs) look? We have a transfer QB from USD that will competing to fill some big shoes. Can we build on this season or do we take a step back?

If only I had known how big of a waste of time watching the Vikings tonight would've turned out to be. I did have the Stagg Bowl streaming on my laptop, although on mute. I would agree with your assessment that the two best teams were playing. To think that 2 of North Central's 3 loses under Spencer (spelling) came in the Stagg Bowl is wild!

Unfortunately, because the game is at the same time the Vikings will be playing in arguably the biggest regular season game in NFL history, my eyes will be on the Vikings. I have the Stagg Bowl set to record, but sadly will undoubtedly find out the outcome before getting to watch it. If that's the case, may not even watch. Disappointing for sure!

What about watching in two screens?
Good thinking! Guess I could pull it up on my laptop & watch the Vikings on my TV in the living room. Happy New Year, Faunch & fellow posters!

49-0 with 1:27 remaining in the first half. I don't see Mount Union putting up a fight.

Watching North Central annihilate Susquehanna (currently 21-0 in the 1st quarter) makes me wonder how far away from competing for a national championship St John's is? Glad to hear we have a QB transfer to attempt to fill Syverson's shoes! The injury at running back didn't help, but feel like the defense needs to improve.
