Just out of curiosity, what is a good number for SOS?

.520 is minimum, usually, for consideration.  .535 or .540 is much better.  The best teams will be near .600.

Good to know, thanks!

How does Lehman get left out at 22-5 and 15-1 in conference? Poor out of conference schedule I'm assuming? Thought the CUNYAC was held with a higher regard.

Congrats to The Wildcats. J. Lawson... try to act with just a little class!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Remember a few years back at Anna Maria when Albertus received a pair of technical fouls for taunting on their way to victory? How quickly people forget when it comes to "their" team. Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house fellas haha. Lets not get into rap sheets of players and their behavior please. Great game all around by both teams. Can't wait to see how JWU matches up against East Conn. They are going to have their hands full and it's gonna take the stars lining up for them to pull it off. Very entertaining year for the GNAC!

...But wait, no one explained to me how JWU played poorly on Tuesday night still haha. I'm most certainly not a JWU fan. Don't root for any team in this conference. Just saw a pattern here and wanted to call some people out. Not even living in the Northeast but boy you make it tempting to drive all the way up to "The Nest" and cheer my butt off for the Wildcats haha. But seriously, can someone explain to me why they thought JWU played poorly on Tuesday night? Stop making blind claims. Look at stats and do some critical thinking with out bias. Doesn't happen anymore now-a-days in any avenue of life. Everyone sticks to their guns and doubles down. In all seriousness though, Albertus has dominated this conference and should win Saturday. Good luck!

Yes, and St Joe's is not JWU. JWU beat Suffolk by damn near 40 this year. Please Explain to me how JWU didn't play their best basketball on Tuesday? Did you even watch the game?

They out rebounded their season average for offensive boards a game. They came up with more steals than their per game average. They shot the ball overall from the field 3% lower than their average but conversely shot the 3 ball 9% above their season average. Caused more TO than Norwich averages a game. Just confused how you think they didn't play well. I'm thinking it might be a little bit of your rivalry against JWU that holds you back from seeing how well they played Tuesday is all I'm saying. If you truly "analyzed" stats and critiqued the game, you'd have no problem seeing how well they played. Good luck against them on Saturday because they're coming for your Falcons bud haha

Not just because I am an Albertus supporter but I am picking the upset tonight in the other semi-final.

Suffolk 78
JWU 74

I just have one of those feelings. I think Duffy and Hagopian are really underated players in this league and I think the Rams will come together to pull off another upset. Plus, JWU really didnt look that impressive Tuesday night against Norwich.

I couldn't disagree more. JWU will beat Suffolk by 16. Suffolk has no inside presence to deal with JWU on the glass and getting to the rim. As for Tuesday night's game, you might be letting your Falcon loyalty get the best of you because JWU played great haha. JWU shot 40% from the field and 42% from deep while grabbing 13 offensive rebounds and turning over the Cadets (who are top in the conference in fewest TO, and were in the top 5 for the country most of the season) 17 times. I think Norwich played a great game and so did JWU. Norwich was an interesting team all year. Real case of Jekyll and Hyde for them. When they played to their ability they beat St Joe's, crushed Lasell, beat Regis, and took Albertus to the wire twice. This board is always funny to read because it's nothing but blind loyalty haha. JWU will be playing Albertus in the "Nest" on Saturday and very well could pull the upset.

What school has the best chance to knock off Husson this year come playoff time? NEC looks good but they had a rough weekend in Maine last week. Colby Sawyer has the talent but didn't fare well in their first match-up with the Eagles. Is UMF the quiet sleeper? Looking forward to their game against Husson on the 14th.

I had a sneaky suspicion about this game. Where does NEC play the playoff games now that they most likely will host? That gym can't facilitate 4 teams and their fans.

Last I knew... the team that earned it. And last I checked, not all four teams or fan bases tend to be in the gym at the same time. ;)

OK wise guy I know they earned it and they are the top seed but have you ever been in that gym? Four rows of bleachers on one side. Two feet on the baseline and two locker rooms in the entire building. And seeing how there is 25 min between the first and second game, you need more than 2 locker rooms and yes fans from 4 schools will be in the gym at once.

NEC completes the season sweep of Husson! Impressive! Great match-up for them. It's a shame Husson probably won't lose another game during the regular season. Best hope for NEC is UMF can pull the upset on 2/14. I'd love to see NEC host in that gym!

I know Albertus is the team to beat and they are currently undefeated but why is everyone acting like they can't get bumped? Last two games were 4 point games. It wasn't like Suffolk or Norwich played "out of their minds" either. Both teams played their games and put up their averages. JWU game is going to be very, very interesting.

2 team conference this year in my opinion. If Keene can knock Eastern Conn in the finals, do the Warriors make the national tournament?
