The agenda for next week's membership committee meeting is up. https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/committees/d3/memb/Feb2025D3Memb_Agenda.pdf
There are of course the two applicants for provisional membership. No applications for exploratory membership are listed.

I know people in both areas, but I don't think any of them attended St. Joseph's.

UMW is in an awkward location for D2. The CIAA most likely wouldn't be interested in a non-football non-HBCU. The only non-CIAA D2 schools within 150 miles are UDC (the only non-New York member of the ECC) and Shepherd (the only non-Pennsylvania member of the PSAC).
If CNU ever wanted to go D2, they'd be a home run for Conference Carolinas.

UT Dallas was accepted into provisional D2 membership, and the process will only take two years instead of three.

They started the D2 membership process but switched to the D3 process after about a year.

Also, given that Hendrix is playing Southwestern in week 3 and is off in week 11, I have a hunch that Southwestern was the team originally slated to be off in week 11 when it was a 9-team schedule, and that they scheduled a game against Texas Lutheran (who's the odd team in week 11 in the SCAC's 5-team schedule) for that week.

Centre's updated schedule (https://centrecolonels.com/sports/football/schedule/2024) shows that the SAA schedule has been completely redone. It's now seven games in weeks 5–11, with no resemblance to the previously released schedule. Centre's schedule shows "TBA" in week 3. Berry and Millsaps still have the old schedules with BSC up; Sewanee has taken theirs down.
I also see that Huntingdon has a schedule up featuring Hendrix; this game is shown in week 2, but perhaps it should be week 4 given that Hendrix seems to be playing ETBU in week 2.

They briefly had a travel partner, but the Denver campus of Johnson & Wales closed after two years in the SCAC.
