You know how I feel for certain about the CONTS and in particular the only Father/Son duo to score 2000 points in their high school career that I know of...  We (meaning you and me) can make Hamilton an honorary "beast from the east" and who is going to be the wiser?

The Magicman knows his stuff.  Hope the Lakers can pull off some upsets and keep the only team from the east alive!!

3 teams in the sweet 16 on both the men's and women's .. is, shall I say .."sweet"?  Hamilton did not play their best basketball but still survived.  Unsung hero was Doyle.  He did a lot of the "press busting" and played a very solid game. Hoffman is a tough matchup for smaller guards. Gilmour is quick and crafty but will need to finish better for Hamilton to succeed and go deeper into the tournament. Team will have to play better to advance next weekend but it was a "fun" raucous crowd and I have to believe the crowd will be even more into it next week. Hopefully Williams gets some support from the crowd against Whitman.   From everything I've heard the Whitman press is downright nasty!  Amherst as host I think will survive the weekend and advance but it won't be easy! Go NESCAC!

Magicman.. there is justice ... Cards dance as I predicted!!  Congrats in order!!  I must assume that you are traveling??

That's what I was thinking (if only for Magicman's sake)..   That NESCAC is such a tough league though...let's face it when Middlebury can get bumped by a sub .500 team in the tournament.. it's just a tough league.

The funny thing about Hamilton is that it's an East school wolf in Northeast clothes...   Think that the Cont's definitely deserve to host (maybe a Morrisville, Plattsburg, Skidmore type of pod)...wishful think on my part.lol

Again, I may be showing my lack of knowledge here, but I was under the impression that the Amherst women would be an absolute host thereby probably making it difficult if not impossible for the men to host as well?  Am I showing the question mark in my name again?

Didn't the Cards have a win over Middlebury this season?  Yet everyone seems to think they have almost a lock except of course their own fans...   Dance Cards ...dance is my prediction!  Pretty sure that none of the LL teams are in the picture except for the tournament winner...
