I'm counting 17 incoming Hope recruits (with one sophomore transfer)... with 17 guys already in the program coming back next year, I wonder what will happen with the roster. Will be really interesting to keep an eye on - that's a huge class.

What could be a pretty big commitment for Hope today - Jarrett Griffith, a sophomore transfer from D1 Stetson University in Florida. The 6'4 guard played in 7 games during his freshman year, but looks like he averaged 20 points and 8 rebounds as a high school senior and made over 100 threes that season.
Hope's young core grows by 1 -with Dykehouse, Thomas, and Griffith as sophomores and George as a junior, Hope potentially has some fun backcourts to look forward to over the next couple years. Always good to get some more length at the guard position.

UChicago won the first half by 4, Hope won the second half by 9.
Hope's bigs were really impressive - especially Sam Vree. Looks much quicker and blocked some shots.
Hope stuck with that same starting 5 of Hackert, Lewis, George, Granger and Gamm, but the freshmen Thomas and Dykehouse got a lot of playing time too. Looked like a 3 man rotation at the 4 and 5 with Granger, Vree, and Gamm - with sophomore Jeff Bikus in some as well.
Ty George led Hope with 15 points on 5 threes, Dykehouse had 14 and handled the ball really well - wouldn't be surprised if he found his way into the starting rotation at some point.
Overall, Hope's offensive movement looked pretty good - excited to see what happens with this team.
Hope's exhibition with GVSU will tell us more on Tuesday!

At University of Chicago for the Hope scrimmage vs the maroons...
Should be interesting to see how Hope's lineups shake out, the starting 5 today is:
Lewis
Hackert
George
Gamm
Granger

Just saw on Twitter that Steve Bell (West MI basketball camp/AAU director) tweeted — "Sam Hargraves to Olivet." Not sure who Steve's sources are, but could be big news...
