This board sucks....Noone should be allowed to say anything unless they preceed it with "Bridgewater owns my team"...From now on I will preceed all statements with that...See ya'll in the fall

I think it's easily understandable how a referee could mistake a small little white guy wearing number 21 with a huge black guy wearing number 52.  It's a completely understandable thing to do.  We should cut these guys some slack.  I mean, if there was more of a difference between the two guys then perhaps I could see where they made a mistake.  But these guys are so similar, these kinds of mistakes happen...

Maloney not so small- pushing 225 at least at the time
Morley not so black

what team were you watching buck?

speaking of transfers,

Doesn't Clemson have a starting Tight End that transferred from HSC. I also saw a WVU game where a d3 transfer had a huge game and was hammering people. I just have a hard time thinking that there is any difference(leaving out physical freaks) between good d3 skill position players and d1 besides connections.

Region 3 football (South Atlantic-ish) / all region teams

Congrats to all who made the south region team.

Anyone else notice that 6 ODAC players made first team offense. Nice job fellas.

Wesley about to go home dissappointed

me thinks that wesley made a huge mistake not putting the eagles away in the first half...335 yards only 19 points spells trouble.

nice job eagles,

Might as well finish up and win it all.

miz,

Just remember how easy CUA moved the ball while being relegated to a one dimensional offense all season. That won't happen again.

If you didn't see some pretty good athletes, then you had your BC blinders on. Just most of those athletes happen to still be teenagers, i.e unfinished products. You'll see.

Of course, you have better to do with the playoffs coming up than banter about next season. I just wanted to take the opporotunity to be the first to go on record about whats gonna happen next year. So that I can say I told you so in every post.

Good luck to your boys in the playoffs. Should be a shoot out.

could this be another pass the torch game
99' BC/CUA
cua-629
bc- 532
*cua won by 21
*graduated all american running back
*graduated its biggest play receiver
*was poised to "dominate" the next season including starting ranked as high as 7th nationally pre season
*99' cua also lost the first game of the season to a perenial power that it had no business losing
*in 2000 they did not make the playoffs for the first time in 4 years

05'  BC/CUA

cua-538
bc-499
*bc won by 20
*graduates its all everything running back
*graduates biggest play receiver
*lost the first game of the 05 season to a perennial power it had no business losing

The parallels are there.  Is the torch gonna get passed again? Non well thought out arrogant replies expected.

You guys have reloaded once(after Cruz and Lutz' class). Its the second time that gets you(after these 30 guys are gone).

Am I anxiously waiting for BC to get knocked off? For sure. Paraphrasing Curt Schilling, I can't wait for the day till someone makes 5000 Eagles fans shut up(besides Roy Williams).

Pak,
Guess will just have to see next year. Don't expect CUA to have to throw 75 times a game next year.  We'll have to see how the defense looks when they aren't on the field the whole game.  Look for Cards redzone O to improve next year. Then they'll be scoring 40-50 a game like their yardage numbers say they should.

weighing in notar v. devon argument,

devon was more comparable to boyle....big fast dudes who broke off big runs.

Notar was a workhorse...hand it to him 40 times...his face is always bleeding and he never got hurt....did i mention almost 60tds

Out of approximately 6 million carries i saw him get knocked backwards once and that was by this dude named Mike Cowan.

I'll tell you all about him one day. ODAC is lucky to have never seen him.

Tough Choice for player of the year.

I'm too lazy to open my email right now so I'll write it down here and email it when less lazy.

Best player
1. J.D ricca, Washington, Bublavi-impossible to break this tie..to me all of these guys could have had a chance to be good players at higher levels
4. Vogelbach
5. Martin

In context of winning
1. Washington
2. Lewis
3. Ricca
4. Vogelbach
5. Martin

Add up the points from the two polls I took from myself
1. Washington- 10 points
2. JD Ricca- 8 points
3. Bublavi- 5 points
4. (tie) Vogelbach, Lewis- 4 points
6. Martin 2 points

Kid, help a lazy man out and email this to yourself. ;D

If you want to know which receiver is the best ask the db's who've faced all these guys this year.

The numbers give some clue but tell more about offense design than the player.

prediction sure to be wrong

GC 28
CUA 35

No more reverse jinxes for me.

Should be plenty of parking. There's a half a mile of street behind the dufour thats always open for parking. You may have to walk a little though.
