Cant begin to express the admiration and respect I have for Coach Kehres. He has spent a lifetime turning boys into men. Turning average players into good players and good players into great players. I feel blessed to have been one of the many who has passed through the doors at Mount with him at the Helm. Good luck to VK as he continues the Tradition.

JK- I got your Message, but like your status at capital, a JV'er can't message back.
- so check the email you have listed on your profile.
Truce? I thought you were a soldier. Oh I get it. You are on a secret mission posing as a soldier for the French.
Either way, I will move away from the personal attacks and respond to your Question.
The guys that come to mind as the toughest I had to block:
1. Mike Ivy- (DT) Wis. LaX
2. Dan Kloeping - (DT) Wis. Lax
3. Mike Maslowski - (LB)Wis. Lax
4. Pat Sloan - (DT) Albion
5. Doug(?) Moore - DT - JCU
6. #68 for Rowan in 98'-
Those are the first to come to mind without going back through the tapes to see who pancaked me more.
I would also agree with Pete Mathews from Musk, and O'Donnel from JCU, And Olivea from Marietta had arms as big as Ric's body.

JK-
I'm glad to see your jealousy is not limited to VK and you actually have enough to spread around to other local players.
I'd love to say that I didn't like you in Highschool or College and that I'm not surprised that you run your mouth in here, because that is the kind of guy you are.
I just can't do that, because I didn't and don't know you.
I don't like you for your posts, that's all I know about you.
.....I guess I'm supposed to say...OUT?

Region 4 football (Great Lakes-ish) / JK Drinks Hateraid for Breakfast
December 19, 2007, 02:50:15 PMJK- I had a chance to read through your Post. Since that gives me about as much interaction with you as you've had with VK, I concluded this. I don't like you. I've never liked you.
You almost had me convinced, since you had dated a couple cheerleaders, but then I realized that I dated a couple of those cheerleaders also...you call them cheerleaders, I call them slumpbusters. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself.
I'm guessing that you didn't confront VK then about how you disliked him, and now you feel it's a good time to Pile on. That is just weak.
You didn't like him on the field? You mean getting punched in the mouth by Mount every year didn't make you stand up and say...Wow that was nice, thank you may I have another. You don't have to bring out the Sour grapes now.
There are a lot of players that I played with or against and did not like on the field....of course that was Highschool...and shortly thereafter I realized that people are much different when they are on your team. So I can see where you could make the comments you made. You don't know VK, you just don't like him thanks to the Beat downs you took while at capital and the Cheerleaders he took from you at Alliance.
I don't have to defend VK, his record speaks for itself. He did a great job this year. The only thing that he has been handed was his A** after his outbreak at the Stagg. But it's a learning experience. Hopefully the Team can learn as well...Maybe they will learn that Talent doesn't win championships, Heart does.

I'm not sure if Kheres was sick or not, but I was about to throw up myself with the play calling.
I guess with that performance we can put to rest the best Raider Team ever talk. Now they will have to settle for the debate of best Raider Team to not win a title.
With a Browns win, a Steelers Loss and MUC 97' Retaining the Title of the Best of the Best....all and all.... it was a good weekend.
Congrats to WWW on a great game. They deserved to win.

I woke up to the sound of the bus this morning.....ahhh Nothing better. Reminded me of the days when "start the bus" was funny....oh wait, that was yesterday, and still funny today.
After thinking about it some, I just needed to get a few things straight. There are 5 people that so many of you have a problem with. 1 of you (all be it not the most intimidating of stature), Ric, Was the only one with enough sack to actually say something?...the others only come in here and complain and talk about how they have writtten everyone including LK?
Unfortunately that sounds exactly like a MUC fan. You guys post like you cheer at games...weak....spoiled...no pair.... It's embarrassing to hear the whining about 5 fans.
So does MUC play this weekend? Any talk on that? Or is everyone too concerned about someones feelings getting hurt because a fan yelled at them...or a mommy crying because 1 of 5 people said her son stinks.

TOPH- After further research into your accusations of fallacy of ad hominem attacks I have concluded the following:
I don't like you.
Also, You don't have to speak for Ric. That is what HSCOACH is for.
And finally, If you don't like the "Start the bus" chant or think the humor is not there, It sounds like you have some memories of getting on that bus for the long ride home yourself. Just because the bus was short, it doesn't make the ride home short.

With regards to the Loud and Obnoxious fans:
The only reason that they can be heard is because the entire stadium is quiet. I thought I read that people actually try to stand? I thought that everyone just sat on their hands. The fans are spoiled. I have more concern for the lack of people there then I do for several that are there that May or may not use the best judgment or sportsmanship. I will give them credit, they seem consistent. Consistently there and consistently A holes, but consistent none the less.
When is the "start the bus" chant not funny? I don't think these guys should loose their season tickets, I think they should be promoted to the Endzone seating. That way they can be heard on both sides of the stadium. And they would be further away from people who like there peace and quiet and don't want things like "Cheers or Jeers" to get in their way of a Saturday afternoon nap. I've got more excited reading the paper then most MUC fans get during the game.
I can see where The Ric is mad if he is sitting a couple rows back and can't see over them because they are standing. And just because Ric can stand on his seat and the people behind him don't notice, doesn't give these guys the right to ruin it for other people.
Sincerely,
Spoiled, Halftime Leaving, Non competitive Game no showing, Ric's scorned lover-

The most rewarding thing for me is not Just seeing MUC add another ring to the jewelry box..I get more out of seeing former Teammates and Raider alum excel at the next level. Obviously I'm not talking about the NFL, I'm talking about Highschool and College coaching. It's hard to Look around NE Ohio and not find a MUC system in place in one conference or another and now the presence in the OAC is growing and will continue to grow.
It speaks volumes of LK and his coaching. He not only coaches kids on how to play their position but how to understand the game as a whole.
So Bring Siriani in, Bring Raeburn back from Iowa and lets get it on.
Happy Holidays and please remember to donate blood. I give on a weekly basis...it's just never mine.

4U- Glad I could help. I tried to take it down a level so that even a JCU guy could understand it.
Ric, Jail?...common man...it's me. Although the conjugal visits were nice. ..Most places I've been specify the conjugal visit must be with a spouse...luckily it didn't specify who's spouse. Tell your wife thanks for the muffins.
Now that the hello's and reintroductions are complete...
With 3 MUC systems in place in the OAC...how long until the OAC is strictly a MUC Alum Conference?
