I was at the Coe-Wartburg game and say the number of hits their QB took during the game.  The 7 sacks were nothing compared to the other 30 hits he took.  Obviously it had some effect as the Coe QB did not play the next week.  Connell will be lucky to make it through the entire game.  Central's Oline better be preparing for Wartburg's blitzes or it will be a long day for Connell.

To anyone who thinks the sky is falling in Waverly Iowa:

You are some fickel motherf**ckers.  Rick Willis is 74-16 in this 8 years there with numerous IIAC titles.  And we have some people questioning things.  Wow.  3rd Highest active winning percentage in Division III.  Do you think he is getting dumber in his 9th season.

Maybe we should hire some alumni.... that were getting their ass beat by Central and the likes before Willis showed up.  Asked some of the guys that have played for Willis what they think of him.  I doubt too many of them would be on here ripping him.

Wartburg lost a game to Luther where they turned the ball over 6 times.  Luthers scoring drives were 6, 12, and 24.  Its hard to be perfect every time you step out there.  Give credit to Luther, and keep the big picture in mind.

The fickel Wartburg fans can respond all you want but I'm not getting into it my mind is made up...you are not going to be able to convince me that Wartburg sucks.
