The only Cortland upset at your place in the past few years was in 2004, which ended with Cortland taking a knee at around their own 30, after a goal line stand by the defense. What game are you taking about? Checked all the way back to 1998, and I don't find any game at your place that ended that way.

Also, while your assesment might be correct of Cortland teams of past years, I cannot agree with that being true of the current team, they play hard and tough. I have been to every game and have not seen the dirty play that you describe.

Plus, coach Mac has pulled the entire first team, twice this year in the 3rd quarter when cstate had a big lead, doesn't sound like trying to run up the score to me. In fact, the only game I've seen this year where cortland was still throwing the ball late in the game with a big lead was the Montclair game. Maybe there's just some bad blood between the 2 coaches for some reason.

If it was yelled during the time out, the kid was walking around shaking his head, it looked to me like he got his bell rung. I did not hear anything like that, but I was sitting with the Cortland parents, so it might have come from a different section. Still, something like that is uncalled for. And I agree with the cortland guys, that is not something you usually hear from a Cortland sideline. I have to hand it to the QB, he is a tough kid, he was taking a beating all day and kept coming back.

Cortland picked up Morrisville as their 10th game, otherwise they also would have had only 9 games just like last year.

          Couldn't agree with you more, and this bye week should go along way toward healing up alot of injuries.  They need everyone healthy for Rowan.

    I think they did miss rickert yesterday due to the fact that he can run and pass block effectively.  without him you need 2 backs to do the same job... hopefully he will be back next week.

   I agree, that team will not beat Rowan. But cortland as a team is looking better than they did last year at this time. So I'm hoping that they improve every week, and can bring their A game against Rowan and make it interesting.

Cortland historically gets better as the season goes on, problem was they couldn't get off to a good start. This year they have managed to get that good start, and their defense is playing good. Hopefully their offense comes around as it has in the past, and they can give Rowan a good game as they have in the past 2 years.
