Being from the tidewater area, I never heard of any of these Division 3 schools. Of course CNU did not have a program yet but I relied on what I saw on tv and I-AA programs. I was accepted into Hampton University and it came down to them and Bridgewater. I didn't know about Bridgewater until March or April of my senior year in high school. BC offered the better financial package so i chose them. I believe we have to make that D-3 presence known early instead of relying on the guys who turn to d-3 as a last resort. Of course it is hard to compete against scholarship schools but the presence to know that our D3 schools are available is a step in the right direction. I don't know if we send letters out to prospects in there junior year but it could catch their attention.

I don't think BC will let their last home game of the season slip to W&L. I believe everybody is going to be focused from the coaching staff/team/all the way to the training crew. We can't drop three straight. We have too much talent to let games slip away. We need to get the pep band to bring back our Rocky theme. WE'RE FOCUSED MAN

So, Nick, who is your brother playing for? I'm curious. Great to see you back on the board!!! Are you coming up for Homecoming?
Hello Olinemom
My younger brother plays for Newport News Apprentice. He is in school to become an electrician. He made a visit to Bridgewater and was looking to become a tight end here but decided to put football on hold for a little while. Definitely looking forward to homecoming, i have antony hunt living around here with me now so we are hoping to make an appearance at the stone station. That atmosphere doesn't get any better. Hope all is well

bigun's a fullback? that ain't fair man. i've seen that man tote a (retired) 240 pound TE on his back up some stairs w/ little to no effort. imagine what he can do w/ a football
my older brother and I were hoping biggums would get back into the game because that boy is a monster. i just wish they would give him the ball and let him do something with it. He has a lot of time though being this is his freshman year. He toted a retired 215 pound receiver around many times. Whats up with you outsider?

with soltis named oc, could we possibly see a lot more love to the recievers? The talent is definitely there and in the past, we liked to consider ourselves the playmakers. I know soltis likes it to come down to the recievers because we were always hungry for the ball.
Congrats to Coach Colbert on his new opportunity!!! I know that program is going to do some outstanding things. Never looked at an offense and understood the objectives clearly until playing for Colbert. I know he can mold the players even if the talent level isn't there. It's not all about skill but execution. (but it doesn't hurt to have an all american every now and then)

Good season BC. Yall have nothing to be embarrassed of. At least yall scored in your seniors final game (mine being against mount union). Can't say i'm not upset that Copeland has taken my record from me but if it had to be someone, i'm glad it was him...........he's good. You seniors did a good job of carrying the torch, Congrats on the season. Let's get ready for 06 and come back a lot stronger
