Thanks Narch! I'll miss the game today but I'll catch a few this year. The Navy is keeping me busy.

Still an Ensign. I'm on USS Ramage (DDG 61). We just got back from deployment early August. SWO hasn't been as bad as people made it out to be, but I have a great CO and XO. Looking forward to seeing a little football instead of standing port/ starboard watch sections.

Yeah, surgery ended my short-lived arena career, but I can still throw it a little. I coached High School ball in Fayetteville for the last four years before giving that up to become a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy. I'm in Norfolk now so it is just a short drive to most of MU's games. I'm glad I will get to see most of Coach Sy's last season. Anyway, glad to be back for another season. Go MU!

You never know what might happen any given year. Go MU!!! I can't wait to see some football. I might even try to sneak in the locker room and throw on that #2 again. I think I have at least a half in me.

Musupporter,
The season is a marathon, not a sprint. MU has looked much better than the 2-8 team I watched last year. They lost to two quality opponents, and they were in good position to win against CU and E&H. This is still a very young team so be patient. You questioned the coaches, players, and leadership and then turn around and praise Teague. You can't have it both ways. I think Teague has done a great job of leading his team, and I think the coaching staff understands they have a talented team. I talked to a couple coaches after the game Saturday, and I think they have a good grasp of what is going on. I really feel we will start to see this team learn how to win some of these games they are giving away. This team is one big game away from gaining some confidence and making a run in this conference. Methodist was never going undefeated, but they are now battle tested and ready for a good run.

I might be a little behind the times, but I just realized that the new Off. Crdntr. for Greensboro College is the father of MU's Teague. That should make for an interesting game.

I have to agree with Narch on the MU game. CU was just too good up front on Offense. They weren't just fat guys either as the O-Line actually looked athletic as well. With that said, I still felt like MU should have won that game. Teague and the Offense looked impressive early on, but the big plays from CU along with the two late first half TDs seemed to give CU the confidence they needed to run through the second half. I think MU can win a lot of games this year, and they have a lot of experience to bounce back from this loss. 2005 started with a 48-28 loss, and that season ended with a share of the Conference Championship, so there is still hope.

I ran a 3.9 once, but the coaches told me that the stop watch messed up. I don't believe them.
Mosh,
I don't remember that TD run, but I remember that Frosh pick like it happened yesterday. That's the funny thing about sports. I could tell you the score of every loss I've ever been a part of, but don't ask me about some of the wins.
Narch,
You heading to the MU game Saturday?

JAF,
I was just messing with you. I figured someone has to help Narch out with our grammar.

Narch- I went up there a couple weeks ago to visit Sherm and we toured the new facility. I will probably come to the first home game and check out the finished product.
