My Prediction for 2014 Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl is 38-21 in favor of The University Of Mount Union Purple Raiders of Alliance Ohio  USA ! Coach Vince Kehres along  with his fine staff of assistants knows what those Purple Gridders must do to take down the Warhawks . The University Of Wisconsin Whitewater footballers <> must go down<> and they <>will go down<> tonight ! Kevin Burke is the big factor for UMU  to win this game. The "Shadow Knows" and this is another FACTOID . 8-)

Hey Swede....you're not an old fart....you're about my age....49   ::)  plus I like what you said. That's awesome!  :o
Hey Bluenote ----Stop telling folks you are 49-----D.O.C. told me last year you are pushing 98 !

Larry Kehres is like Smuckers Peanut Butter and Smuckers Jelly "simply the best". L.K,s record 332-24-3 over 27 years will never be matched.I gave L.K. the nickname Smuckers"  in 1998 and gave Vince Kehres the same name in 2012.VK will without a shadow of a doubt  continue winning football games as  Purple Raiders head coach and I will now refer to V.K. as "Smuckers 2".
Keep On Keeping On Smuckers2 !

No, the color is grey/gray and it is drab, drab, drab.
D.O.C.<> YUP Grey /Gray is drab. But Redlands does
have mix of Burgundy/Maroon { not RED as kingsmen 4 says} which is also drab!
Kingsmen 4 is my buddy but he does have an eye sight problem thinking Maroon Or Burgundy is red !

On another note D.O.C. did you know the name of Redlands live bulldog is THURBER!
Yup THURBER !!!Check it out on Redlands University Football webpage .THURBER----say what D.O.C.Thurber---hmm?
If you view the CLU/REDLANDS game on the live internet streaming be sure to look for THURBER  the live Bulldog Mascot on the sidelines.

Now look stoonk....I'm personally fetching one of the LINFIELD basketball greats from the'60s and driving him to 1000 Oaks. We'll be in Reno the previous two nights. So, I'm going to need your luxury box and,oh yeah, the golf cart, to impress my guest. He'll be content with just another win, but we be stylin' in your presence.
Now Look D.O.C.----  the brand spanking new William Rolland Stadium does not have "luxury boxes" and you do not need a golf cart! Arrive early like 10 am for the 12:30 kickoff and get a choice parking spot free near the Olympic swimming pool by Gilbert Fitness Center. Then just go west and walk 3 minutes   into the stadium free and pick up free programs and you can roam the Linfield sidelines just like you did in OLD Mount  Clef Stadium with Oxy Bob several years ago. .See you soon D.O.C. I THINK you will like the new nine million dollar facility.Great new  field turf and a fabulous sunset on the pacific ocean during night games.More improvements forthcoming on the visitors side when enough money is raised !

W&J Hosts National Runner-Up in Late August
The W&J football team will host the national runner-up Mount Union Purple Raiders for a scrimmage at Cameron Stadium at 9:00 am on August 24.
Is this the year W&J finally  wins the first scrimmage vs The Guys In Purple?

Eat some brownies for me--I will miss visiting my friends from Bridgewater.

HEY --what be in those brownies??? Browny for thought --When another d-3  football team  wins 10 Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl titles in next 14 appearances like MOUNT UNION has done  -----then they can be called "The Kings Of D-3 Football" . NUFF said ---come on man !

allright, you guys are annoying me.  i cant believe that i am going to have to cheer for a team that i dont think has a chance to win since none of you are going to be there.  that is why they invented sick days, to take to go watch football games. :D  i will surely miss you guys, theaprof and hscoach because you guys talk good football.  so, with that in mind I will throw out my less than 2 cents because what do i know.  wesley puts up close to 500 yards against supposedly one of the best defenses in D3 and loses by 7.  What does that mean, Wesley had one of the scariest offenses in D3.  UWW has the best RB in D3, one of the best QB's on D3, one of the best O lines in D3.  Their defense is as good as any, or so that stats say that.  Mount gave up, well I already mentioned that.  So in the end Mount has no chance!!!  in the great words of Lee Corso, "not so fast my friends".  I have no idea why I think this game will be close but I do.  UWW does not run an offense that is made to blow people out.  Emma17 said they like to grind it out, pound the rock as the say.  If they dont, and they are due to have turnovers, none in the last 8 games, I could be wrong on that number, then this will be a game.  Mount may not be the second best team in D3, but they are in the game and that matters.  Shut down the pasing game and let Coppage run for 175 and you can win, if not I will still be glad to be at the game.  Hope to see as many of you at the game as show up.  If not, have a great holiday season.
Wesleydad--you be a smart man-----I would "never" bet against LARRY KEHRES    head coach of Mount Union ---317 wins ----ONLY 23 ---lost in 26 years ! SAY what ----like Keyshawn Johnson would say ---'COME ON MAN".
