Anyone know why there is no video broadcast of the Ithaca game, being that it is at home?

I believe that the D3 scoreboard section last had IC up 35-6 with 8:56 left in the 4th. That was the last score update I saw.

Let's see if any of the clowns that were on here earlier in the week have the class to show up and eat their words.

I'll take solace in the fact that IC scored more touchdowns against MUC than the ENTIRE OAC.
Congratulations to the Bombers for a great season, looking forward to 2008.
Good luck to the rest of the East against the Empire!

Interesting, listening to the Mt Union site, Coach Kehres said that he thinks that some of the success of their defense was due to facing such young offenses this year, with first year starting QBs....

I haven't been able to get on either the Stretch Internet site, nor the ICB site, but I got this Mt Union site to work.

In order for the Bombers to stay in the game, we'll obviously have to play a near-perfect, if not perfect, game.
Tomorrow's Weather at Kickoff:
12pm
Rain / Snow Showers
39°F
Will feel like 34°F
40% chance of precipitation
For the Bombers, this weather will seem like a home game. I'm thinking the Bomber return teams are going to be big, and I am thinking we'll see a punt and/or kick return for a TD, along with one Bomber offensive score.
Good luck to Coach Welch, his staff and the Bomber players. GO BOMBERS!

You might even get some students there as well. Too far/expensive for me to get there from NYC.
Just remember why you are playing Bombers!

Thanks again for the insight hscoach.
Speaking for myself, I see 62-0 scores, and I think, "OMG, HOW CAN WE COMPETE WITH THAT? EVERYONE SAYS THE OAC IS AWESOME, AND MUC IS KILLING THEM!"
And being that I don't go on the OAC boards ever, I wouldn't know that graduation, injuries, etc have taken their toll on the rest of the OAC, and that this Saterday, maybe for the first time this year, MUC will play someone that can play with them. No disrespect to the OAC, this year has just been a down year.
Is this indicative of the OAC for the past 10 years? No, but the past 10 years aren't relevant to Saterday.
I appreciate the background on this year's OAC, gives a bit of history that wouldn't have been there otherwise!

hscoach - thanks for the analysis, good stuff.
A few questions for you:
What kind of offenses does MUC normally play against in the OAC? It doesn't appear that many of them are putting together a whole lot of points. Only 2 average over 25 points per game. And even if you took out the MUC games, they still wouldn't have a good average over 9 games.
Have MUCs opponents been more run oriented? Pass oriented? With IC being very balanced, just wondering how the Bombers match up vs MUC's opponents this year.
Running a 4-2-5, you'd THINK that they play a lot of passing teams, but I guess a lot of teams don't really have time to run the ball when they are down 42-0 at the half.

And it's not just players, we had a Cortland COACH post last year!
