Any info yet on playoff tickets for Mount??

I know we haven't lost a game, but I feel we are far from undefeated.

Wow, back to the same old, same old.  Please get an OC.  Please get an OC with some imagination.  Again-- middle, middle, out pass, scramble.  The only exciting play was the first one for Mount which Ott broke up--I guess that with the "quality" of that play Ott showed our coaches that we shouldn't try the long ball ever again.  Ott's defense was not as effective as Mount's incompetence at play calling was.  Thank goodness for Ott's penalties (?) some of which were somewhat questionable.  I am disappointed for the Raider Nation.

No video feed so far.

Blue Streaks played well today--props to them.

CAN WE PLEASE GET AN OC WITH SOME IMAGINATION???  There were only two creative plays that I saw all day--both were very successful.  Middle, middle, out pass, scramble--all day long.  I know a win is a win, but sheesh!

LK to VK might have had some genetic coaching connection but LK/VK to GD doesn't have that same connection. I am actually surprised that LK, who I see hovering around the sidelines and end zones every week, hasn't given GD more solid advice (read that--a Kick in the a$$). GD has had the players but the play calling has been vanilla at best.  A friend of mine told me that his nine year old daughter (who has been watching UMU football since she was little) was predicting (correctly) most of the offensive plays in the red zone while they were watching the quarter final game on live feed.

Sad.  I love UMU football, I want it to be successful, but....

Where was Rossy?

Good is my biggest question and concern....if he's injured, this is a different defense.

I listened to the broadcast on WRMU and thought they said in post game they were hoping to get him back. Didn't say injured but I banged up, I think.

Talked to someone in the know and they said he was just resting.  A little banged up but back next week.  Didn't think they would need him and wanted him to get rested up for next week.

And no clock!

I'm seeing more of the Wilmington facilities than the game on their video.  Halfway through the second quarter and the video still says it's first quarter.  What a joke.

Well, Capitals one win was Otterbein in a close game.  Those two Columbus schools been battling each other the past few years to not be the worst team in the OAC.  Crusaders have managed to win 4 games since 2019, losing 34. While the Cardinals been doing slightly better averaging 1-2 wins a year, usually beating Capital. ;D Lots of big high schools in the area, but the two OAC Columbus colleges seem unable to draw in players well.

The Capital Crusaders football team lost its last game on 9/25/21 to Marietta 37-7 and haven't lost a game since.

The Capital Comets, on the other hand, have lost many games.

I was happy to see a woman as one of the line judges at Mount's game.  It seemed to me that she did an excellent job (as I would expect). And as head line judge!   Here's to more inclusive attitudes in our world! Interesting article about Van Voorhis.  If the women can keep up with the men, more power to them!
