Hardy measured at 6006 (Little over 6-0). His production is prolific but his size is not gonna elicit much interest as a D3 from NFL. Hopefully he gets a mini-camp invite.

Watched Bowdoin Tufts game. Tufts dominated the the game but I couldn't believe how Bowdoin left Boel in the game in passing mode when was it raining like hell and Bowdoin had no chance of winning. Tufts was just teeing off on Boel. Didn't think the kid was gonna to get up. No way a coach should leave a kid in the game they cant win and continue to try and throw the ball in those circumstances when his QB is getting lit up. Boel should have been on the bench. He's not a big kid, he will be sore in the morning but hope they didn't get him hurt.
2 score game with 5 minutes left. Time to pull Boel?

I don't really care if NCC is ranked 1st or 4th at this point, but I would like to understand how the Cardinals would have a 13 point delta (to 625 pts) on seven ballots. I question the rationality of those votes! I also would like to understand how 11 points went to UWW instead of a very good Mount team. It will all shake out in the end, but it would be worthwhile if there were a bit more transparency in the D3football Top 25 polls.Quote from: Stagg Again!! on October 02, 2022, 08:16:53 PM
See that the new Top 25 poll is out and, not surprisingly, NCC did not pick up any points after defeating a Top 10 opponent by two touchdowns. Meanwhile, UWW picked up 11 points after their 3 point win over a similarly ranked opponent. Love to watch how quick the pollsters are to throw points at MIAC and WIAC teams (St. Johns, UWW, etc.), but aren't so quick when Mount, UMHB, or NCC pick up big wins. Frankly, I am surprised that St. Johns didn't jump over an "outsider" like Trinity!!
Man -- you gotta be kidding me. There are only THIRTEEN points left for North Central to pick up, and you're complaining that they only have 97.9% of the maximum points a team can have?
Well, when you are done with the hyperbole and want to have a serious conversation, let us know. We talk about the poll quite a bit on the podcast and have done some breakdowns of the top teams and we will do so this week, plus we do even more for our Patreon subscribers, but seriously, there's plenty of rational thought being done by pollsters who put UMHB and UWW ahead of North Central considering whom each have played in 2022.
Awesome podcast on "polls." Hopefully posters take note.

"2). Middlebury Panthers (3-0; LW: 2): Kudo's to O-line Coach Dave Caputi for teaching his guys to hold on every play and only get caught about 1% of the time..."
Is that the only way Midd could have upset your Cardinals, Nescacman?
We think you have kinda nailed it, if in a snarky way.
Midd's coaching staff does have their players ready to play on Saturday.
Not sure how Middlebury offense holding held the Bowdoin to 10 points of offense. Middlebury is playing for Bob Ritter's last year. The 2000 Middlebury Panthers did the same for Mickey Heinecken. Bob deserves to go out on top. I hope it happens.

After a 3-7 finish in 2021, there will be a new starting QB in Green Weenieland this season as soph transfer Jay Lemenager has beaten out last season's starter junior Sage Shindler for the top job at IWU. Lemenager, a lefty, spent the first semester of his freshman year at powerhouse Mount Union where he saw action in exactly one JV game.
Irregardless of whatever level of passing talent he may have, indications are that he better also possess a fair degree of scrambling ability as the Green Team has had to replace the entire starting O line from last year. The projected starter at right tackle, Lemenager's blindside protector, is a 340 pound freshman.
In Norm we trust.

Endowment bake sale led by Norm Eash? Probably have to hire a few Illinois State students to read the recipe.

Wake up
Get to the game on time

D3F is a troll and only posts on here to stir things up for whomever it suits.
Separately, I'll take Wheaton and the 13 pts for a sizable bet if you are offering!

His career as a TE will be ending in 1-2 weeks. Awesome D3 TE. Lets not forget that D1 rosters will have 3-5 TEs with his body type.

Dave Murray was viewed as the savior of the Hamilton program when hired 8 years ago. In 7 seasons his record is 18-43. He has never had a winning record. Didn't realize Hamilton Football has not had a winning season since 1996. I recall some very good teams back in the mid 80's but have overlooked their futility thereafter.
I believe there could be some rumblings among Buff 'n Blue alums who have always been a pretty vocal group.
Murray was a winner in his prior coaching tenures and had great credentials coming in but seems to have made little progress with the Hamilton program.
Hamilton is in the market for an offensive coordinator. Joe Gilbert and Herb Hand have been contacted.
