Anyone have any idea of the ticket situation for the RMC-HSC game this Saturday? Over the past few years, tickets have been rather limited. I'm guessing because both teams are a little down that walk-ups could get tickets right before the game, but would appreciate any input from someone in the know. Thanks.

Did any of the Tiger posters attend the first annual tip-off banquet last Friday? If so, how was it?

Time to dust off the keyboard...the season's almost here. Looks like the Tiger transfers are as follows: Matt Kittrell from Wagner College of the D-I NEC and John Barker from Lenoir-Rhyne College. Where did Forrestor go? Just curious.

TFA,
I think it's clear to the regular posters on the board that you are doing your best to provide an objective analysis about the team you support. I, for one, appreciate opinions that aren't provided through "rose-colored" glasses all of the time. You have stated all along that the Tigers aren't as good as they have been in the past. That's your opinion; that's also my opinion; and I think one could reasonably state that it is also fact. But, stating the fact/opinion doesn't necessarily mean that you are criticizing them to a point that you no longer have faith that they will return to the top of the ODAC in the near future or that you are going to stop supporting them.
"?" or "The Riddler" is likely just a one-time poster who had nothing better to do than to criticize you at 12:30 in the morning. It would be nice if he/she could offer some objective analysis or incite about the current Tiger team other than "Oh boy! I love the Tigers! Shame on you for saying they are bad! You are now on the "negative" bandwagon!" (actually, I thought hopping on the bandwagon referred to supporting a positive, and not a negative.)
Anyhow, keep bringing the posts! Even I don't agree with all of them, but I think we agree on a lot. And since you don't follow the NFL, I'll speak for you and state in my humble opinion that the New England Patriots are definitely not as good as they were last year! I'll even lay money down on it.

Steely,
This isn't the first time IWU has been sent packing from an ODAC "site". I recall a similar situation in the 2003 Sectionals.

I like Hasanova's proposal, especially the part about Monday night...it really s*cks for travelling fans who have to make a living doing something else, plus the 4-day weekend (including banquet) is just too, long. Give the fans that rooted for their teams one more night of home cookin' in the quarters before moving to a Final Four weekend (Sat./Sun) in Salem or some other neutral site.
And like mentioned earlier, why can't all 10 teams participate in the Tourney?

Some here might run me off the board, but what about Bob Johnson at E&H for COY? He's in the first full year of "the system", started ODAC play at 1-5, and his team has shown dramatic improvement since that mark. I can't say for sure that he would get my vote, but he's certainly worth floating out there.

He actually sat two guys. Balenga and Sumpter did not play in VWC's only ODAC loss to HSC.
Sumpter played 30 min. and scored 9 points. I hardly call that being seated.

Eagleslam,
I see your point...and no doubt, there is more parity top to bottiom in this year's ODAC than in 2003. I think the comparisons supporting the "strength" of the 2003 ODAC over the current version relates to the 2003 ODAC (ie. Macon and Sydney) was more of a threat going into the NCAAs than this year's version.
VWC is on a heck of a roll right now...but I don't see two ODAC teams still playing in the Sectionals come March. I'd be very pleased, but shocked if it happens.

Nova,
Just wanted to point out that Jordan Snipes did not play tonight. Word from the broadcast announcers was that he was recently involved in a car accident and doctors did not clear him to play because of a possible concussion. Jordan was present; however, and indicated to the broadcast team that he felt fine and wished he could play. Jordan is an important player for you guys, and I believe his absense contributed to some of the Quakers first half instability.
Good luck the rest of the way.

H-SC played by far their best game of the year...getting out to a 46-23 lead over Guilford at the end of the first half. They coasted from there to a 96-57 final. Drew Prehmus finished with 19. Every Tiger scored.
Game was available via video streaming on the web. I could really get spoiled with this.
