Would agree MuleShoe that Colby is definitely on a fast rise as a program. Over that past 3 years that I have seen them when they play us, it is clear that their culture has changed under Cos. Their defense is definitely nasty, but their offense has certainly held them back. I think there are two problems there: 1. QB play is not good. Lack of arm strength, panic in the pocket and is happier to scramble than let the ball fly. 2. Play Calling: Do they have a simpler playbook because of #1 problem above? Their offense has been in the bottom of the league for the past few years. They need to fix this asap if they are to be an upper tier program.
We have very similar issues also, but yesterday was a nice boost to the confidence level. This team since the Bates game has improved in bunches.

I should have defined that better, sorry. Their football stadium facilities are old, field is in really nice condition. The new indoor athletic facility is definitely the nicest and largest in the Nescac, better than a lot of Div 1 facilities that I have seen. All of the other outdoor sports fields (baseball, softball, field hockey, soccer) are all new and just amazing.

I believe you left one out: Colby. I was up there for their homecoming against Amherst, and we could only be so lucky to have their student body spirit at home. Their tailgate area was packed and well attended by a number of groups. Their stands were jumping the entire game, and very loud. Definitely the loudest in the Nescac that we have played so far.
The facilities are definitely lacking and old, but this didn't seem to bother them.

What is the official word with respect to Nescac Roster Sizes for the 2022 season and beyond? Has this been settled as of yet?

Great point on CM Mr. Utah! Solid school for sure.

But the Catholic Schools do count. If you look at St John's Prep; Central Catholic; BH High; Xaverian; Catholic Memorial (they should be in Div1) they are all in the hunt for the Div 1 finals. Everett you have to throw away during Coach Dibs tenure as the recruiting (as you referenced) from other towns was out of control....now with the new administration they are buckled down to just Everett kids....and I would argue that they are the best Div 1 public school team. I am hearing now that a lot of those kids are starting to head in the Malden Catholic direction.

With all due respect Mass divisions do matter. Catholic Memorial clearly belongs in Div 1; however Coach Dibs knows that he cannot beat Springfield Central in Div 1 South finals after they moved up. Duxbury was definitely a great team back in the day, but wouldn't have come close in Div 1....just too many athletes per team with the larger schools.
And....there is not a statistic for sacks that is kept in Mass.
