DePauw seems to be spanking Wabash in recruiting the Indy kids. Wabash just lost another solid player from Bishop Chatard to Depauw. Sad part is, this kid's older brother attends Wabash. You can't lose a player like that esp when he will be paying 17k ish more per year. I think Don is going to hang his hat on Liam and then step down when Liam graduates. They seemed to have thrown in the towel on trying to out recruit their rival. In the near future, Tigers will dominate this rivalry.

Wabash travels to Butler week 2. Their last time playing was 1976 with the last time Wabash beating Butler in 1969. Hopefully the Little Giants can figure out how to play defense between now and the fall.

Is it true that Coach M takes the salary he is to be paid and splits it up among his assistants? I have heard this from multiple people.

2 very talented HS recruits (son's of friends...all state, etc) was interested in both schools prior to Saturday. They were at De_____w on a visit Saturday with a visit to Wabash set up for next week. Talked to my buddies today, both boys canceled their visit to Wabash and decided to pursue De____w. Losing the Bell is awful, getting humiliated to the point where kids are second guessing coming to play there is a whole different ball game.

2 pick 6's and putting the ball on the turf won't win you many big games.

Wabash D has given up 198 points so far this season. DePauw has given up 27 points on the season. Rory Mannering is doing an amazing job this season for the Tigers as their DC. Maybe Wabash could lure him to C-ville next season?

Playing man with no safety help AGAIN and getting roasted through the air. Good news Liam only has one interception so far, looking like he wont reach his 4 that he threw last year vs Witt.

We lost to OWU last year in an overtime game. Liam threw 2 costly interceptions, one in the 3rd and one in the 4th. This defense is less talented than last year, add to that a new DC that seems like at the very best, a lateral move from Ramsey. He certainly isn't an upgrade by any stretch.

Mike Ridings needs to hit the road. Don had no problem getting of Ramsey (who was far better than Ridings). Fire him now and get someone lined up who can do the job. Wabash has maybe the most talented QB in the history of the school, they have to find someone who can be effective on the defensive side. Yesterday's loss on a huge pass play when corners were up tight in what looked like man coverage?
