Re: the RIC RF, Brent's an INF converted to OF this year because of his stick (7 HR .325 BA), he's a guts ball kid who has overcome some major hurdles, will run through a wall for the team.

RIC up 8-2 in the 6th bases still loaded...Cinderella likes the rain! ;)

Hey Santeez, 7-0 UMB in the 6th...looks like same old RIC in the LEC Tourney...maybe not Coach Grenier's fault?

Santeezy, what happened to RIC pitcher Chris Day, started the season as #1, haven't seen much lately?

RIC has the tough combination of young and thin.  Rossi in CF and Levesque at 3rd are their most experienced along with DH/1b Shabowski.  Levesque is 3b only this year and is injured.  Pitching staff has a CCRI transfer Chris Day from North Kingstown, RI as the ace, backed by Paul Vatter and little else.  Just by the numbers 1 or 2 spare outfielders and a spare infielder coming off the bench, 3 catchers coupled with a rookie head coach.  A .500 season would be cause for celebration!

They feel they have pitching depth but lost 2 starters to grades, a 2b and an OF...ouch!  Levesque is now slated to play 3rd full time.

"The Game"..."The Shot"...still never watched the replay.  Once was enough!
West vs Hendy friday night at West, We Have a Shot once again!

Check out the RIC spring trip, Friday pm flight, double headers Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed, return on Thursday.
Talk about LOW rent.  As you can tell I'm not a big fan any longer!

Not too much, pretty quiet on the hill.  All three coaches have been there for a while so not many changes.

The situation with Coach Grenier, was done in a pretty "class-less" fashion.  Not a surprize with the Adminisration there! By the way Coach Grenier is at Wheaton as a hitting coach in addition to his duties on the Cape with Chatham.

Looking forward to a trip to Willy to catch the big fella on the bump.  I'll be in touch!

Is the 2009 WPI ACE playing anywhere?

Santeezey...how was Grenier a hack?  Program has done pretty good with the limited resources that they have available.

Coach Sullivan is now the D-Coordinator @ Worcester State, who happen to play Framingham this week.

Very sorry to hear the bad news, had a son that played for both Flynn and Haverty and found Coach Haverty to be a true professional and a great guy.  Everything that Fitchburg Football is, is due to his efforts and never ending work for Falcon Football!  I echo your sentiments!
Best wishes to him and his family!

It's about that time of the year.  When will Framingham win a game?  When will Sully go?  It is now well beyond laughable.

Art Bell is former RI high school coach who was an assistant to former Salve headcoach Tim Coen.  He has continued the use of the wing-t that Coen ran, without the same caliber of player, therefor without the same success.  Salve featured many of RI's top high school prospects, many of whom now head to DII Bryant or to 1AA or DI's.  Kids like Will Blackman and Jamie Silva at BC, Steve Silva at Holy Cross and Liam Coen, Tim's son at UMass are now moving on and up.  In the 90's many of these types may have played at Salve.

Let's see, let's pull a bush-league move and really piss off a better club, no wonder they didn't call of the dogs!  Also, Ms. Williams making football decisions...enough said!  Poor Rams, at least they leave Sarno alone, hopefully.  I'll bet he could coach some ball.
