Also, congats to the Knights for getting a split second of airtime on ESPN!

Sounds interesting--what did they have to say about the Knights?

They got "air time" but so did Hope and every other team in the tourney.  They just listed every single team involved.

Pat, thanks for the link.

Just watched the Outside the Lines on the D3 tourney.  It was a very nice piece, following IWU and Lincoln college through the first few rounds of the tourney.  I felt like it was a pretty accurate representation of what D3 sports are about.  There was a funny moment where they asked an IWU player about guys leaving early for the NBA, and he said the only thing you have to worry about in D3 is guys leaving early for grad school.

As a side note, I know it was only a couple of games that they showed, but it sure looked like that PG from Lincoln has some serious game.  Also, congats to the Knights for getting a split second of airtime on ESPN!

This may be the incorrect board but...I am looking for a link to the bracket contest of the D3 men's tourney.  I have looked hard and I just can't seem to find it.  I must be looking in the wrong spot, and I must love misery, b/c I have a feeling that my bracket is at least 50% wrong, but I just wanted to find proof. Anyways, if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Tony Westhouse had a flying one-hander off the left wing at Knollcrest that is the best I've ever seen.  Sherm Karstenen had a beauty for UWSP in the 2000 finals too.

Bob, I'm glad someone else remembers that one.  It was just incredible.  The attendance was fairly low for that game, and if I remeber correctly, the game was already in hand, so people were sort of idly watching.  But then Westouse dunked it and it seemed like the whole Fieldhouse was sort of in disbelief.  It was just awesome.  By FAR the best d3 dunk I have seen in person.
