Might have been my favorite tufts football game to witness in person of all time. Jumbos up 10-7, playing great on the defensive side of the ball. Berluti goes down. An outsider who doesn't know this team would have panicked. But the jumbos have senior quarterback Luke Leongas step up in a huge spot when Berluti goes down with an inhury. Leongas has been a backup to Berluti for 4 years. He coverts a 3&13 pass, 15yd run then TD pass. I mean talk about just staying ready and being a team guy.

What a gutsy win by the Jumbos today in ephland. That Williams team played real tough. Despite the Jumbos not having their best day on either side of the ball, they were able to step up when it mattered most. What an INT by Jeff "Jet blue" Xu. Guy looked like he's never caught a ball in his life but hauled that pick in. Tufts special teams unit steps up once again. Andrew Leigh with some great punts. Vaughn Seelicke perfect on PATs and FGs. And Caden "Lawdog" lawler bringing the boom with a huge tackle on kickoff today. Go jumbos.

Gotta say...those frisky kitties got a lot of heart. God bless coach coyne. He had that bates team playing real hard tonight. Just wasn't enough to keep up with Mike Berluti, Jack Elliott and that high-octane Jumbos offense. Great punt operation by Andrew Leigh of the jumbos tonight too. Man does that guy have a leg!
