Thanks Bartman and Ice Bear.  We played great for 3 quarters but as you said they have more talent and wore us down.

Simmons is the best back we have seen all year and Gocella at QB didn't help.

Regardless this was a step in the right direction for the Jackets.

Good luck Hobart and hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Defense playing great and the combination of Wise and Tre Johnson on offense looks awesome.  Another half to play but no doubt the Jackets came to play. 🤞

Appreciate you trying to be the parent but the negative inferences about U of R football have been consistent from Day 1.

The reason RPI and Ithaca didn't get the bid is because they never "applied."  Application deadline was 11/11.  Jackets got lucky and honestly don't deserve it.  14 schools applied.  6 got in.  Out of the other 8, 3 went to the tournament, 3 went to other bowls and the other 2 had losing records.  Getting in was a fluke and frankly not something I am looking forward to.  We are hurt everywhere and playing a huge and angry BP team is not appealing at all. I'm hopefully that our kids don't get injured.

This year despite our finish will end positively and help in the future.  There is no doubt that football wise we are behind the top four and appreciate those people who love D3 football like I do.

Bartman- never trolling just don't like bullies and negativity.

As mentioned Rochester has the deck stacked against them vs. Brockport.  The hope is that QB#2 Creighton Wise will return.  He is a threat with his legs but will probably not throw that much.  Pretty sure the Golden Eagles won't either with their Freshmen back who had 3 picks vs. Alfred. The problem is Isaiah
Simmons who ran for over 1300 yards and 16 TD's this season.  He is the real deal.  Not sure he can be stopped but rather contained.
To have any chance, the Jackets need to find some offense which has been non existent since Paps went down.  On a similar note, I know a lot was discussed about all conference selection misses but I do appreciate LL Coaches recognizing Paps despite him missing the last three games.

So bitter and angry.  My professional opinion is that you suffer from a void in your life.
Hope that gets checked out soon.

I guarantee that you will relentlessly be checking the score this Saturday
hoping and praying for our downfall. Which means either way we win...we are in your head!

Dominate the day Engineers...Troy is a beautiful town!

Quote from: Machiavelli on November 21, 2024, 09:25:28 PMIs that game so meaningless that they left it off the Full Scores page? It wasn't even intentional.

Better than no game like other teams...

Look cream puff, I was trying to tell you I didn't leave it out on purpose. It is not on the d3football.com scores page. But since it's clearly bothering you so much:

Rochester - 6
Brockport - 48
Rochester had what looked to be a promising season, but showed they were a one trick pony and looked like regular old Rochester at the end of the season. The entire LL gets embarrassed in this one.

There ya go little guy. Hope you're happy now.

Thanks for the morning laugh...you are so easy wind up😂 Never forget 14-7 Jackets over RPI.

Have a blessed day!

Quote from: Machiavelli on November 21, 2024, 08:25:33 AMAlright so I finished the regular season at 40-8 with a strong 4-0 final week. Not my best season, but it was a 'different' season, that is for sure. In any case, moving onto the playoffs:

Mach's quasi-Rd 1/ECAC Predictions for games I give a sh!t about:

Alfred St. - 0
Endicott - 63
Endicott rests it's starters halfway through the 2nd quarter. Alfred St. shouldn't be here. Endicott's JV's will put up 4 TDs and hold the goose egg.

Alfred - 35
WesConn - 21
Who dat said gon beat WesConn? Alfred said it.

I guess that's all I give a sh!t about this week. Gonna be a little nappy of a weekend I suppose.

Wait What???  No Brockport/U of R pick Niccolò?
My extremely soft feelings are hurt.

Totally agree on DeSilva and Wefering.  Both were next level.

I have my own issues with the process as LB Luke Herter (Junior) and S Simon Weeren (5th year) were 5th and 10th in the league in tackles and were only HR.  Since when do tackles not matter on defense??

I hope to hear Ted Baker complain about bad calls against the Statesmen as that would mean the Jackets were finally playing well at Hobart. Until then he can still suck it🤣

"Congrats to the Yellowjackets on a fine season and selection for a bowl game. Tough injuries at the end of the year, but your Coach Chad can build on this. I heard Ted Baker accepted the announcing job for the game , so he will be a homer for the LL participant, no doubt ;D"

Thanks Bartman!   Send Teddy over we will need all the help we can get!

Thanks Oline89!

Agree with Mach that it might be rough as we finished last week with our 5th string QB and several back ups on the OL line.  4 fumbles and 3 interceptions can't happen again. Our best hope is that Wise gets healthy.

Regardless of the outcome it will help with recruiting and the future.  And it will be a nice way to end for this class that started their careers on the heels of an 0-10 season.

Quote from: JacketsPride on November 16, 2024, 01:31:29 PMMaybe this has been said before but the Hobart announcer is such a homer.  Everything they do is magical and won't even say who made a tackle or catch for us.  Never seen it this bad in my 17 years as a parent and fan.  Shameful at this level.
Sorry , but we love Ted Baker. He is part of the fabric of the college, calls football, lacrosse, hockey, basketball and women's basketball and soccer. Ted is welcomed here for as long as he wants to announce, even though he is a tad partial ;D
. Congrats Hobart on their great season but Ted Baker can suck it!

No Rose (hurt) or Wise (sick) today vs. Hobart.  Jackets using third string QB Senior Anthony Pucciarelli.  This will be his first start.  Windy and Sunny could be a tough day to throw for both teams.
