At the very very very very very very (very very) least, can someone please spend 15 minutes and remove the years-old ridiculousness that is our head football coach hollering "Wabash Always Fight" in the sizzle intro of his weekly propaganda video? It's too much to bear.
And give Brent Harris a raise while you're at it.

Gotta hand it to Bill, bringing in a QB who hadn't played that position since HS, and it was working until the goal line fumble. Great game -- congrats to Wabash.
Yeah, gotta hand it to Lynch for playing that dude at the wrong position for however many years.
Anyway, the bell is in its rightful place. And DM has his career highlight. I hope things change in Crawfordsville.
WAF.

The Sphinx Club should stage a coup at halftime.
Go full varsity blues on the staff. Come running out with the team, overalls and headsets. Come on. That'd be so dope.
Someone make the call.

It's basically our players versus their coach.

ugh. just whatever.
You guys don't know what you're talking about and I don't have the energy to try and make up for you not paying attention to anything but a record or a (weak) schedule.
The bad thing has already happened. And it's not a loss. The loss, saturday's loss, is not the introduction of the issue -- it's an illustration (yet another) of an issue's severity. An issue that is difficult to point out because of people like you nodding toward a piece of paper and saying "But see? The W number is higher!"
I'm grossed out. And I'm angry. I went to Wabash because they were bombastic and ridiculous and they *meant* it. When the "Wabash Always Fights" stuff gets hollowed out, I/we can feel it and it's painful. It's embarrassing. As an alum, I am embarrassed. Stand for what you promote and promote what you stand for. If that's this, the current state of things, then I'm gonna stop watching real soon. Because it's a degradation of what I identify with as a Wabash Man. I'm gonna check out. And my guess is -- if I'm saying that -- then other people are feeling it too.
That's heartbreaking.

Morel's Morsels (TM) get really good following a loss:
"We feel like with the guys we're playing on offense we just need to be perfect every play to have a chance."
"In my first season we lost to Allegheny and Oberlin in the same year."
"We weren't ready to play on Saturday. That is my responsibility."
