Now all I need is a provider ID and password and I'm good to go. ;)
I'm with Direct TV at home and Comcast at work, just not Xfinity.  ::)
Maybe I can upgrade for a month?  ???

Looking for some help to watch the game.
Up till now it was easy to go to the host teams site and log in to watch the game. Since finding out that ESPN is in charge
I can either wait a few days to watch it on ESPNU or? ESPN3 is internet, is it open to anyone? From any provider? Your help will make a
few Alums extremely happy and me out of the Cat house.
Thanks

That is funny MC. So the Pride's coach had an excuse the boys in the booth didn't use? Im sure they would have had they known. Kind of sad to be honest, what did he think? Chip slipped Coach Smith the master game plan of the pride?
Great game today Cats. Total domination on both sides of the ball. Its a great day to be a Wildcat!!

WC11,
Was able to say Hey to GHC today. I love that man.

catjumper,

Welcome back, +k to you,  one loss does not make for a bridge jump.. :).. Ill take boring over a loss any day......The worst part is the  WildCats last Conference loss was to the bearcats in Salem 2008. I think this one stung  more because of how the Cats played. That said, I think we were out played in just about everyway today for 3 quarters and got it together almost in time to pull out a win.
A wake up call for sure.
I was proud of how they dug in and kept after it. Never gave up and fought back and gave themselves  a chance to win.to the end.
Learn from it and move ahead.

Thanks OldCatProf ...... Better bring a soft cushion seat to the game 'cuz it's likely to be a lengthy game.
Sounds like a great Idea.

I wasn't able to play in the BWC golf tourney this year but I stopped by to see some of the legends from the Wildcat Football teams of the 60's and 70's.
This is just my  personal observation, but it looked to me like some were "talking"  :o a better golf game then the score card was showing. :D
But, who am I to talk,  I was just a part time paid member of the pep band, as in free pizza for playing at the game.
Hey Blue! maybe that's what it will take to get the band back at the games, pizza and beer?

See you at the game, ..

Does the NCAA track football injury's? If so is it by team? By position? By injury?
Now, I'm wondering if a team has inflicted more career/season/game ending injury's then most are they investigated for dirty play?

Wondering where I'm going with this? No sour grapes, just IMHO. I believe if the Cats had drawn a different 2nd round game they would have been much healthier against U. WW. The chop block before the half takes out a D lineman. And how many Running backs sprain an ankle after the play at the bottom of the pile.
Sorry for my late 2 cents, but Ive been wanting to ask this for a few weeks now.
Best of luck the the Warhawks this week, it should be another great Stagg Bowl.

Merry Christmas to all in D3 land!

Footballfan413,
Good to hear from you. Some Hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps sounds good to me.  Weather here is 23' feels like 9'. Enjoy the game today, it has the all makings of the games we've played in the past, 2009 and 2005 only with a different out come  :). I hope some Cat fans stop by and say Hi. Stay warm. Temp in McMinnville at game time is expected to be 21'

HSCTigerfan,
Sorry I missed the fun banter this past week, good ribbing is always fun. And this is the cleaned up version.
Read some things said about my buddy blue  :'(

Fans will be fans, good, bad and sometimes ugly. They are at every field. After watching todays game
I would have to believe that you have fans at your games that fit into the 3 types I've mentioned. Why do I say that?
A cheap shot at the knees ( a PF was called) just before half that took out one of Cats  >:( who now is looking at surgery I'm sure for one. That was just one of many, we could ask Maryville what they thought of the play of the Tigers in last weeks game. That type of play comes from the coach who answered any doubt with his sideline melt down  :-[ chasing  and spitting in the ref's ear. What was it the 2nd or 3rd time the Cats stopped the Tigers going for it on 4th down?
My point is if a team and coach play that way on the field I'm sure off the field you will find some fans that fit the mold.
What you heard today is not typical of Linfield fans. I would like to apologize to you and any other fans for that behavior. We pride ourselves in winning and losing with class on and off the field.
It was a battle today and a fun game to watch, Safe travels home

O.K. Before I get off track I want to say congratulations to the Cats and the Lutes and I look forward
to this Saturdays Match up.

Well, I think the NCAA has forgotten who they represent......College athletes. By sending PLU to Linfield this week
did they (NCAA) really save money?  We won't really know until week 2 and week 3 are done I guess. They kind of control who wins or who has the best chance to win in most case's with this type of matching teams together. ( behind those closed doors I can see them now...a smoke in one hand and a scotch in the other, sooo what patsy do we put against Mount this year?)  ;D I'm just kidding!! But.........
I'm thinking the business side of the playoffs has clouded the minds of many. This should be about the students, the student athletes that have a chance to learn a few of life's lessons, and experience some things that without sports might not have happened for these young men. By sending a team from another part of the country to McMinnville and the Catdome you bring a group of people to a part of the country many have never seen before and many will never have the chance to get back to ever again. (I understand it's a zip in and out trip, but still you see something) The host school benefits as well by having these visitors share things with them. It's a give and take that you can't put a $ amount on. This is College sports, and yes I know it is a business, but It can be more and I think many have forgotten that. as always IMHO
I'm just happy the Cat's are playing this week and I have the chance to watch them play.
