at 1230 Jim Hilvert will be officially announced as tmc's new head coach.
he has been the defensive coordinator for msj for the past 8 years. he took at program that was complete garbage and turned it into the premiere program in the hcac. (2-8, 0-10, 5-5. 6-4. 10-0. 9-1. 9-1) he also did it at a school that gave him absolutely no funds or support. it is going to be scary to see what he can do at a school like tmc that actually supports their athletic programs.
he knows the area and is an exceptional recuritor. i hate to say it, but he will take every recruit away from msj and other teams in the tri-state area.
i would watch out for tmc in about 2-3 years, they are going to be a very good, discipline team.

e_lee,
although i hate cleveland as much as the next cincy fan; if it wasn't for john elway, kosar would have been recognized as a national legend, not just a cleveland legend.

we played there every year b4 we got the new stadium, and believe me, its not nearly as impressive with only 2,000 people there. the pit aint the pit when there isn't 12,000 drunk westsiders cheering you on. so your a jaguar eh, i was a blackhawk back in the glory days when we won the title every year. lasalle is a good place to start off coaching that is if you can put up with grippa's crap.

tdubs,
its in delhi, not western hills 8) and yes who-dey indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!
msj is going to have a perfect game in order to compete on saturday, nobody from the hcac or msj is debating that. you guys have to realize, they have only been playing football at msj for the past 15 yrs. 5 years ago, we were 0-10. this is still a very young program that is trying to make a name for itself. we have improved from 0-10, 5-5, 6-4, 10-0, and 9-1 this season. msj is no where near the caliber of mount union, nor do they claim to be. if they continue to bring in talented recruits and transfers, i firmly believe that msj will become an elite program in the very near future, but they still have some work to do. we are just hoping for a good, injury free game on saturday. stranger things have happened, that is why you play the game. if anything this is going to be a great experience for msj. it is going to let them know exactly where they are, and exactly where they need to be in order to compete in, not just the hcac, but all of d3.

correct me if im wrong, isn't any team that wins a conf. championship and makes it to the playoff considered a good team? i know mount union is a great football team, is every year, but aren't you guys underestimating their opponent a little?
