MTV really didn't have their ish together, but Sandberg was great.  The Eminem thing was totally staged BTW.  Check out the Sandberg video that aired last night. Hilarious.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.,  June 1 (UPI) -- An impending ban on smoking in North
Carolina bars and restaurants could put hookah bars out of business, one owner
says.
Hookah Bliss owner Adam Bliss said if hookah bar owners are unable to earn an
exemption from state officials, they will face the possibility of losing their
businesses when the ban goes into effect this coming January, The (Raleigh)
News & Observer reported Monday. Exemptions have been granted to cigar bars and
country clubs.
"Besides the fact that this law is creating an elitist association between who
can smoke and who can't, they're allowing government to put me out of business,
and this is supposed to be a free-market economy here," the Chapel Hill
businessman said.
But Dr. Adam Goldstein of the University of North Carolina Medical Center
insists the popularity of hookahs -- water-cooled pipes used to smoke tobacco
that originated in the Middle East in the 8th century -- in college towns and
bigger cities does pose a health risk.
"The simple fact is that hookah smoking is no better, and it may be worse, than
any other smoke," the center's director of the tobacco prevention and
evaluation program told The News & Observer. "The only good aspect about the
hookah trend is it is a blip in history that will be gone in 10 years."

they havent made the whole thing public yet as they want memphis and calipari's take on it first. they dont call him teflon john for nothing....he always has his tracks covered so someone else will take the fall for him. just like at umass when they had their final 4 vacated yet calipari "had no knowledge" of anything word is he will call in from china to tell of his knowledge or lack thereof about rose and what went down....its why pbr really hoped calipari stayed in the pro's as he is all that's wrong with college sports alas kentucky now has made their bed w/ the devil and has to sleep with him

JT just returned from a cruise with the in-laws.  It was surprisingly good.  Enough alone time, enough family time.  Plus the risk of getting caught seems to work for MJT... who knew?  Perhaps the best part was leaving from NY, first time on a cruise w/o flying.  And it was a people watchers paradise, LD would have loved it.  Picture 2,500 people... 1/3 Yankee Bleacher creature, 1/3 Goomba/Mafia, 1/3 Boricua, Dominican etc.  And among those groups 1/3 God's waiting room.  The medallions, the pinky rings, the chest (back) hair.

But JT has to give them props in one respect... best tipping group on a cruise bar none.  They respected how hard the crew works and how long the crew is away from their families.

Perhaps the funniest thing was when JT was having a nightcap and he looked over and spied the entertainment for the night (ventriloquist) running the mackin ho's bible on a chick.  Dood was just rolling with everything.  Chick said she was looking for a publisher for her crappy book, and the dood even knew something about the stoopid subject.  JT was impressed.

Next day they were spotted holding hands.  Score!  Anyway he got on another cruise in the next port to entertain another group.  So she was alone.  JT knows what the LLPP is thinking.  JT was thinking the same thing. JT got a moment alone and asked her if he made his "member" talk.  Her eyeballs about fell out of her head.  

So JT went: Is that a yes?

On a side note this comedian Percy Crews has got game.... he needs a better marketing/web presence apparently, but JT can attest that Percy kicked butt for an hour.

Nice JT I am glad the cruise was cool. My wife keeps trying to get me on one of them but for some reason I am scared ****less of those big ****ing boats. I own a boat, fish, and spend a **** load of time on the water. Yet I just think about the Titanic going down....****. Should I take one or what? Thoughts/experiences from the LLPP.
