We lost Eastern Nazarene.  Up 1, WPI hit a three at the buzzer to crush their dreams.  Great game, though.

It has been my experience they don't run out of pitchers of beer in Northern Wisconsin very often.

Watching the last two minutes of this Northland-Martin Luther game leads me to believe some supervillain has abducted the players' families and will slowly roast alive those belonging to the winning team.  A true comedy of errors here.

Northland needed two to tie, they went for the hero-ball three and missed.

Every list is down to single-digits in the new year.

eh, Martin Luther had it in the bag if they'd hit their FT's.  While certainly a bit ugly the last 4 minutes had plenty of drama with Martin Luther standing at the FT line up 9 with a 1 for 1 at the 4:01 mark.  ML missed it and Northland quickly got it up court for a layup and a foul, got a defensive stop followed by another quick  layup and all of the sudden its a 4 point game.  One or two nice inside plays by Northland and a series of trading 3's in the last couple minutes.  Can't fault the effort.

Martin Luther's win makes me the last one standing.  Johnson State was only the third team I looked at.  I can't say it was anything specific but I did note the downward trend of the last couple years and the loss of their top two leading scorers and their overall youth.  The schedule wasn't exactly ideal but it didn't look too daunting.  I believe this is the 3rd time I've been able to be a loser.

From this point forward I root hard for a Johnson State Badgers victory!
