Keystone might be closing. I wonder what that means for the newly formed Landmark football conference. Hello Lackawanna?

Pat Coleman

Great question, but it's more relevant on the football Landmark board!

So I guess Martin thinks Danzing will turn things around.Wasted the last 22 years of Scranton mens basketball. How many trophies has he brought to that case out in the long center. Not one another year 13-12 calling it

Did you really think he was going to get let go? All opinions aside, whatever they may be, he lost numerous players from mid November on. You can argue that no one was ready to step up for the most part. You are one year removed from advancing to the 2nd rd of the NCAA Tournament. I know that wouldn't mean anything 30 plus years ago.

It sounds like they have a nice class coming in. Have to imagine he only has a few years left, and I would guess they will let him walk out on his own. Then enter Klingman or Ryan to provide some youth.

If this team was healthy this past year, you would have seen a 15-18 win team I would guess.

I was hoping! You had one basketball player that was hurt Will McCauglin that would have made a difference and instead of getting beat by 40 maybe it would have been 20.He was beat by double digits alot last year.He failed that team.Stop blaming kids it is up to the coach to get the team to at least compete. When everything is going down hill we blame everyone but the coach.

Bottom line, the team was hit hard by injuries. They had no depth. One thing I will knock on the coaching end was the team always appeared to be out coached in the second half. The adjustments were not there. Some of that might be that a team can hang around for a half... Just happy the season is well in the rear view mirror.

Just wondering...

How can there still be no re-cap of the Scranton/John Carroll men's LAX match on the Scranton Athletics page at 8:35 pm.??
The game was at home & has been over since 6:00.
Meanwhile, JCU had a really complete recap posted on their website 30 minutes after the game.
Game reviews seem to be coming later & later...not sure why the delays keep happening.

Spoiler alert courtesy of JCU...Scranton won in OT.

Jesuits must have been beside themselves with the battle of Jessuits last night

Congrats to Men's Lacrosse on their first ever NCAA win and advancing.
A school without football is in danger of deteriorating into a medieval study hall.

Now that the spring season is behind, I am sure you are all eagerly awaiting schedule release time for hoops. Ahhhh, who will be the three invites to the Hilton Invitational?
