I do wonder what (last year's team) Mount Unions record would've been if they had played UWW, Trinity, River Falls & HSU. At least we played & lost to real football teams (sorry Alma) haha.

I'm glad that no Mount Union player, alum, fan has ever said "at least we lost to...".  I don't want Pat to hit me with a strike, but that is certainly a loser mentality.  Good thing you can hang your hat on that 2.78, UMHB is going to be a fantastic D2 program

I would argue that there is a difference between actual discussion and a person whose entire presence in this thread is to antagonize and/or put down programs. But that's just my two cents. At least bring back karma so I can smite him every time he pops over here to say something idiotic...

Let's not be obtuse. There's a clear and consistent theme to this clown's posts. He's not here to engage in productive discussion, he's here to troll and derail productive discussions with pointless flame posts. Allowing this to go on, and then making veiled threats to people who are minding their own business on their own conference's board until they are baited into responding, is pretty clear deferential enforcement.

It took me all of five minutes to find that Mount Union had a measly 13 football players with a 3.5 GPA or better while UMHB had 10 at 4.0 alone. MU needs to step it up in the classroom. Why don't you dig up the team GPA and get back to us. That would be great, thanks.

Thank you for bringing up the outstanding student athletes at Mount Union.  One thing though, All-OAC is only sophomores and up.  I know that 9+ letter words can be tough, but a sophomore is a second year student.  The 13 incredible student athletes with 3.5+ gpa are just from Sophomore to Senior.  I'd bet there are some outstanding freshmen GPAs as well. Even at a tremendous academic institution like UMHB, I'm sure some first year football  basket weaving or calf roping majors put up impressive GPAs

looks like 30+ incredible UMHB Crusaders made All Academic ASC (3.0+) for the football season.  Congrats to those young men on a great accomplishment.  I wasn't a math major but ten 4.0 GPAs and 20 other 3.0+, but still a sub 2.7 team total during the season....weird

I think it must have been a different year when UMHB fans and a Mount fan are going after each other about GPAs haha
