I'm not sure there's been a better moment than watching Paden hit a curveball first pitch 487 feet walk off just incredible!

Not sure you could ask for much more than Hagen gave Whitewater tonight starting for tve second straight day! 6 IP/2 runs and gives way to Huseboe to start the 7th inning with the score tied 2-2.

Huseboe and Eisenbarth put up three zeros and the Warhawks offense scores a pair of runs in the 8th and an insurance run in the 9th to defeat Salve Regina 5-2 and advance to the Championship Series against Misericordia.

With the series starting on Wednesday, I'd guess Hilker will get the ball to start on three days rest?

EDIT:  Looks like the series starts tonight and Wednesday is an off day, so Hilker would only have two days rest if he were to start tonight...

My guess the change has something to do with the weather forecast? Probably better weather today than tomorrow, so if there is going to be an off day, do it on the worse weather day of the two?

As far as who it favors, I don't think there is a significant advantage either way since both teams had to win three straight elimination games to advance. The only thing that might change my mind is if Misericordia threw their "ace" in Game #1 and didn't use him at all on Sunday or Monday so he'd be on three days rest tonight.

Doesn't matter who whitewater faces they will pretty much rock any starter great lineup with 9 hitter hitting absolute bombs. The chances of Hilker losing back to back starts are slim to none better chance of me winning the powerball!

Sean Mulligan would disagree.

Maybe research before you post. He's lost his last two starts.(LaCrosse and Salve Regina).

I forgot word again and he won't whitewater will win first game tomorrow no doubt whatsoever and with no games today I really like for them to win both their top 3 pitchers are the best ever in D3.

I'd argue that they might not even be the best trio to come out of WIAC...

One down, one to go....

Does Berendt start the final game of the season, which would be his third start in seven days...

Well, two of those supposed "best ever in D3" don't make it out of the first inning as Misericordia chases BOTH Berendt and Hagen and have an early 7-0 lead and are still batting...

Have to think that starting for the third time in a week finally caught up with Berendt, as he wasn't very sharp today. An over-run flyball to RF really changed the inning. If caught, the inning is over with the score being 2-0. Instead, Whitewater has a HUGE hole to dig out of with little to no pitching available.
