Dr. Acula

Looking at the box score from Berg's 38-14 win over Hiram on Thursday and it's kind of strange.

Both starting QB's were pulled.

All of Berg's scoring drives started in Hiram territory.  Maybe not that strange since Hiram is, well, not good.  But putting up 38 points and every point started on the plus side of the field seemed out of the ordinary to me.

There were zero points scored in the 2nd half of the game, but Berg did not punt once in the 2nd half.  They either went for it and failed or turned it over via INT/fumble every possession.

Week 1 doesn't mean a ton, but I would have expected a much better offensive performance against Hiram than they showed Thursday.

I watched the Hberg game, it was 38-0 with 9 minutes left in the half, Hberg was just so dominate, and Hiram seemed so bad, I thought they were gonna end with 50+ points, but yeah offensively Heidelberg didn't do much the whole rest of the game, and gave Hiram a free TD with the snap that went over the punter.

Hope the OAC gets a lot of W's today with their non conference slate.

This announcer really needs to settle on what pronunciation of Noah's name he wants to use.

Maybe the bus with the defense in it is stuck in traffic and has not arrived at the stadium yet.

Run d is getting torched so far

D3fanboy

An uninspired start from a Dartt led team...who would have thought?

Targeting is hitting the runner in the hip?

Rossy is out now for the JCU game too?

Unless the NCAA changed the rule, no.  He would be out the first half of the next game if he was ejected in the 2nd half of this one.

Terrible call

The Mount Ferrum game is ridiculous. Moore ejected for targeting - and there was no contact above the shoulders. Homer call by homer refs!

In Virginia it is.
Hopefully the defensive bus arrives by halftime.

Only out for the rest of this game.
He will start against JCU.

The Ferrum announcers are Homer and Cleatus. They kept talking about a holding call and how obvious it was and it wasnt even a holding call. It was a facemask.

Oh and WILLIAMS CANT RUN INSIDE!! he doesnt read the cut.
