On the pay for games subject, don't expect it from RPI, they take pride in their broadcasts and exposing their brand vs making a few hundred bucks a year. It's a total joke and an embarrassment to D3 football. Every one of these programs has the technology and the means to support not charging to watch the games online. It's a few simple factors: laziness and lack of support for the program by their administration. End. Of. Story.

Very nice start for Hobart considering being on the road against the #8 team in the nation RMC. Even though the Statesmen were stopped short on a 4th and 1 with 23 seconds left in the half I like the call and the way the O has played. They are playing to win.

Just a note that RMC was down at the half last week to Dickinson 14-7 and then exploded for 37 points in the second half to rout Dickinson. Big half coming up for the Pumpkins. Let's go Hobart!

Hobart Defense is stout , as 7-7 in 4th Quarter against #8 Yellowjackets. Hobart Linebackers are awesome, just sacked QB back to back. Forced another punt by R-M.

Hobart misses a winning field goal chance on last play of 4th quarter. Going to OT.

Hobart loses in OT after giving up TD pass in first R-M possession. Offense couldn't score in OT possession . Great game by Hobart defense, Hobart offense had a hard time running but found their passing game. Officially Hobart doesn't suck as much as everyone thinks. A missed FG by a good kicker and it would have been a win. R-M might not be as good as everyone thought, but Hobart is better than everyone thought.

Agreed on all accounts. Heartbreaker for the pumpkins.

What a dispiriting loss for IC. I'm sure if you asked them, they'd have said they should have beaten Hopkins, given all the chances they had at the end, and that they were going to finish it against Endicott.

But this game was a mirror image. Ithaca got a strong defensive effort, repeated opportunities in the RZ, and they simply can't finish the job. And now, Colin Schumm is injured, and the Bombers will again have to turn to an unproven entity at QB.

The Bombers are now 0-2 following two home games. And look, there's not a lot of shame in losing to two good teams like Endicott and Hopkins. But I'm not going to pull a D3football and say "The only thing we *know* is that Ithaca's not as good as two Top 15 teams." You've got to win tough games in my book, not just schedule them — especially at home. You've got to put the ball in the end zone when you have that many chances.

I'm sure Ithaca is frustrated. But they've got to regroup and try to get through LL play.

Hobart I can't figure out at all. Yeah, they *should* have beaten RMC. They also *should* have lost to Alfred. Their offense has produced even less than Ithaca through two games, and their best play remains "The other team muffs a punt". But I think their defense is going to keep them in every game, and I think they could beat Ithaca with how both teams look and Schumm's injury.

RPI took home a win, though the defense has struggled again, the offense was sharp.

Not sure how it all shakes out, but I know there's a change coming at the top of my personal power rankings

Ithaca loses a close one to the Gulls 13-7. They should have kicked that earlier field goal to make it 13-10 and then their last possession could have been for the tie. Gulls  strong on defense. but I'm not impressed with Ithaca at the QB position. Hopefully Schumm injury is not serious.
Hobart outgained R-M today and found their passing game because they needed to as run game was bottled up by R-M.Defense held R-M to 203 yards. Hobart front seven is as good as anyone in LL.
I can't wait for the Hobart-Ithaca game at the BOZ now, it should be a classic.

Well done Hobart! Wish you would have gotten that win.

JP, it was right there for us, we outgained your YJ brothers in Virginia, but we didn't execute the FG at the end. The LL is tough but no signature wins against ranked opponents leaves us as a good but not great league. While the Ithaca and Hobart losses were close , either Ithaca or Hobart needed to close those games out. Good luck to the Yellow jackets tonight, if you keep improving who knows what could happen this LL season.

Just checking in. Union up 11-8 at the half. You fellas know I'm very positive but let me tell you this Union team looks awful. Struggling to run, poor pass protection, and some very questionable play calling. Maritime has taken penalty after penalty, some gifted, and the Union has done very little.

Moravian beats Utica 18-13 and doubles them up on yardage. This makes Union loss to Utica look pretty troubling. Hobart plays Moravian at home next week, which will be a good measuring stick for comparison purposes.

Just dropping in to say Go Bengals ! 42-6 over Hilbert, with most of the damage done through the air.

Congrats to Jon Drach on first win, as Union comes from behind to beat SUNY Maritime 18-15, but only gains 206 yards of total offense. After seeing that Moravian beat Utica today, it looks like Union has some work to do before LL play starts.
