You only have to go back to last year when UWSP had 13!!!!! incoming recruits.

AJ Uttech
Austin Schaumburg
Logan Baumgartner
Mason Prey
Jackson Watson
Josiah Butler
Cal Krohn
Parker Prahl
Seth Miron
Malik Abdul-Wahid
Tyson Skalecki
Darrius Bolden
Jacksen Smith

I know the plan with last year's roster was to have JV games, that didn't happen due to a bunch of kids leaving the team for whatever reason.  I would imagine the plan would be the same for this coming season if the roster does end up close to what it is now.  If a bunch of kids leave the team again, I'm sure the plan to have JV games would be scrapped again.

Former Kettle Moraine 6'7" F, Joah Bodden, will play at Platteville.  He was a graduate of the class of 2023 and committed to Whitewater out of high school, wasn't on the roster there but will be at Platteville now.

Wow Oshkosh loses Wisco's Landon Key to Lawrence.

Kind of similar to Dalton, a few flashes as a freshman in even more limited time.

Unfortunate news today regarding a former Whitewater standout...

"We are shocked and saddened upon hearing of the passing of Chris Davis Sr. He was a beloved member of Madison East High School, the Eastside community and an integral part of Eastside Basketball. Our prayers, hearts and thoughts go out to his loved ones."

Very painful loss for the Warhawk family.

Tweeter has a video of Eau Claire's new gym. Point plays at Eau Claire at 5 pm and Stout hosts Platteville at 3 pm on the same day.  Looks like I may do a road trip on Saturday, January 25th.

Mentioned on the MIAA page, Oshkosh is headed to the Heidelberg tournament and the matchups have been released. The hosts play Manchester and Oshkosh takes on Calvin. The only "problem" is that Oshkosh is already hosting Calvin later in the year. I wonder if Heidelberg can swap opponents. I wouldn't want to play a non conference opponent twice. The GLI had St. John's playing La Crosse but the schedule was amended when they found out the two schools are already playing each other less than a week later.

Pointers have a preseason social next Sunday. It's a nice chance to meet the players, coaches and other fans.

Saw the opening this weekend watching the Blugold Volleyball team host a tournament. Had some cool aspects of it as they brought some of the bleachers from Zorn and incorporated them into the wall by the concession windows. Gonna have to look at my work schedule and the hoops schedule when that comes out and try and make it over for a game this season.

Quite the facility and should be a nice recruitment tool to bring in talent for multiple sports.

It's mid September and Eau Claire's and Platteville's schedules aren't even out yet. Real surprised about that...and a little disappointed.

Well, thanks to Ryan he created the team pages on d3hoops, so now we can see the UW-Platteville schedule they've entered in Presto.

Noncons: n Calvin, Sikma 2nd game (IWU/CalLu), vs Carthage, vs North Central (IL), vs Augustana, vs Gustavus Adolphus, vs Hope, at Central, at SNC Tournament (Bethany Lutheran, LF/SNC). Then still one game TBA.

Pretty strong schedule overall.

Thanks. Since it wasn't on the school's site, I didn't bother looking on d3hoops. Seems kind of backwards. Curious what Augustana that is. One will probably assume the Illinois one from the CCIW.
