Beaudrie with an absolute strike to Turner who got deep.  83 yard TD pass.  Turner can motor.

Mount looks a lot faster offensively this week.

Tough luck from the OAC scheduling having Mount in town on homecoming weekend.  42-14 at half.  Mount is basically doing whatever they want offensively so far.

Also, how did Witt only score 14 points on BW?  May made the right call transferring clearly.

Much less predictable play calling for the Raiders today.  The Raiders secondary is a MASH unit right now though

I'm thinking the rumors of BW's strength may have been greatly exaggerated lol!
On the bright side, at least they didn't lose on a flukey final play this time  ;)

The schedule falls nicely with Ott and Wilm the next 2 weeks.  Berg is the following week and they do not look good this year so far.  Hopefully that is ample time to get some guys healed up.  Even Beaudrie wasn't limping, but I'll say was jogging off his last drive with the look of a guy that took some hits today and will likely be pretty sore tomorrow.

Ya know ever since I was a little kid I wondered "why is there a mute button on the remote?". Could not figure it out. I mean you turn on the TV to watch BUT listening is what really provides the understanding. So it never made sense why someone would want to watch and then mute. Then tonight I turned on the Mount BW broadcast - and it all made sense. Wow. The kid is super excited thats for sure but holy crap! Oh and I loved the "biggest 3rd down of the game" - it was Mounts first possession. It was the 2nd third down of the game (BW did not convert theirs). Oh well - thank god for the mute button

I did not attend the Mount/BW game. Based upon the stats, the Raiders played really well and I thought that BW was starting the season strong, but the game was not close. Beaudrie continues to impress and it was a great team win. Keep it up Raiders! :)

The Raiders came out of the gate ready to go yesterday.  Force a quick 3 and out, score a TD and it was off to the races.  Mount scored TD's on all 5 offensive possessions before half.  The game was over late 1st/early 2nd quarter on the combo of Mount stopping BW on 4th and goal from the 6 in the 1st quarter followed by the barely 2 minute, 94 yard TD drive from Mount that spilled over into the beginning of the 2nd.  It was 21-0 and pretty much over then.  BW was showing zero signs of slowing down Beaudrie and company.

It's incredible how much smarter the offensive play caller got in just seven days.

I was very pleased to see Mount using some vertical passing game.  There aren't going to be many defenses in the country capable of slowing the Raiders down if they have to defend the deep shot and the running game.  Hopefully Beaudrie can practice his baseball slide over the next couple of weeks and avoid taking unnecessary hits.

BW's quick outs, slants and screens negated some of the Raiders pass rush and they were able to string together a couple of drives.  But the sub 5 yards per attempt was never too much of a threat.

The secondary will improve over the next few weeks.  Gotta get Deuce back at CB and Liebler had the forced fumble that Jackson scooped and scored

He needs to watch film on Kevin Burke, I don't recall him sliding very often, but he also never seemed to take big hits either.
