Slow days on this board! Hopefully game day action gets the energy flowing! What's Morrisville have going on? Haven't looked into them lately! Will the Red Dragons be in for a battle?

Guess some of us RDragon faithful get a bit spoiled .....only 17-0 over Morrisville at the half .....humdrum showing ....Z. Boyes batting under .500 ...ho-hum. Then Cortlanders turn up the attack and wind up 41-0 winners

Solid 'D' pitches a shutout with Mville turned back inside the CSt 5 in closing seconds. Homestanding Dragons virtually put this one away with 14 third quarter points. Amass nearly 500 total yards with Boyes 20x31, 229 yds, 3 TDs passing and another 41 yds, 1 TD rushing. E. Gallo 22x126 running, T. Taylor 7/60.

Big day for J. AlphanoStjohn with 8 catches for 133 yds, 2 TDs and 3/29 rushing. Seven Dragons snag passes.

Couple of big LL contests go Hobart (16-7 over IC) and Rochester (14-7 over RPI) way.

Seven straight losses in the Courage Bowl.

Look I know it's about the kids and everything they're going through and have gone through. But can we at least put up a fight in these games?

Fisher is averaging 5 points a game since 2017 vs Brockport.

5.

They are simply over-matched and out coached year in and year out.

30 Rushing attempts for 0.5 yards per carry...Holy hell just fire the OC into the sun for running the ball 30 times with that kind of production.

My 3 win prediction after last week's debacle might have been over-shooting it.

I truly empathize for the Fisher guys. I love watching the D1 games but watching or listening to Cortland on Saturdays are my only true joy in sports...besides NASCAR! I have no use for the NFL!

Definitely felt like the Dragons were flat today in the first half. Just going through the motions like a machine.  It until they added some emotion, did things ramp up!

A lot of teams struggled to run the ball against Brockport, to be fair.

The college game's idiotic rules on sacks are actually the real reason the numbers look so bad.

Removing sack yardage — since a sack, by definition occurs on passing plays — as well as a kneel down gives Fisher 22 carries for 56 yards. Still not *good*, but at least an accurate representation of the game plan

It also helps contextualize the passing game, since 7 sacks on 33 attempts shows that passing was just as futile.

For 7 years Fisher has been horrid vs Brockport.

Conference opponent and Fisher is powerless to run the ball or stop the run vs them.

Fisher's just not good anymore. They're going to lose, badly, to nationally competitive teams most of the time.

At some point, Fisher needs to decide what they want their football program to be. They're not just looking at the 2004-2007 glory years in the rearview mirror, but the 7-8 win teams that were always in the running for the conference are too.

I think that we need to address the elephant in the room.
It's time for a hard reset.
While the Fisher faithful are grateful to Coach Vos for all he has done for the program, it seems time for a new regime to take the reins and spark some life into this program. In the meantime, Ill glance at scores and look forward to Lax season as they trend upward on the national scale!

Not much action going on here! I've watched some Utica live streams and I think we should be good this weekend! To a man, the Dragons are a better roster, but that's why we play the game! Take the W and savor some Utica Club Saturday night! What more could you ask for?

Just name the field after him and move on...it's just stale at this point.

If the Dragons didn't muff an early punt return (Cortland's returner that's been electrifying the last season and a half), we probably would have goose egged the pioneers! I don't thought Utica would have moved the ball a little more efficiently! Regardless, I like how Cortlands Defense has been playing! It's been a fun ride so far in 24!

Enjoy the ride this year . Enjoyed seeing the Red Dragons talent and skills at the Hobart scrimmage in August. Cortland looked like a final 4 team even with the graduations. Boyes is very accurate and far ahead of everyone on the East Coast. Good luck the rest of the way, and appreciate the ride..

Look forward to seeing the defending national champs in "The Pit" on Saterday.... The Red Dragons are the real deal. Hoping my Saxons can pick themselves up to give the Dragons a game!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

Very interested to see if Brockport has taken a step forward. The defense certainly can beat up on the low hanging fruit that is Hartwick, Fisher, and Buff State's offenses. But Cortland is a whole other ballgame
