There's like 3 frat brothers in a room somewhere getting high and giggling about their stunning, beautiful owns of others on a D3 soccer board.

I guess they want the posting productivity and participation to literally go down to zero. Other than a handful of posters making significant contributions there is almost nothing happening. Attacking folks who are strong and good-faith participants seems a little counterintuitive, but you do you.

Very funny you popped in here, I almost referenced you in my response. You call it every year... folks that either don't participate or even lurk come out of the woodwork and take (often very weak) shots.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest--even if the folks contributing are a small number, this place is worth the occasional/random potshot.

(The funny thing is that we're pretty much agreeing with each other.)

I know. Can you believe it? We almost never agree but usually we're pretty pleasant about it or at least pleasant enough to ignore.

The other 12 year olds post on another thread prompted me to check my output since I kind of promised to be on a sabbatical. Despite moderate failure, I have made progress. Last year at this time I had about 550 posts for the season. This season I'm at about 73, 74.

I disagree that we disagree all that much!

Said the pretentious and malignantly narcissistic Hopkins brainiac!

Woahhh, a bit of criticism got the lads up in arms. Just because you watch soccer doesn't mean you know soccer. Nothing personal just an opinion.

I was an assistant coach for town-level U10 soccer.

If you don't mind sharing, what are your credentials?

justakidfromakron

Wow, you've earned my respect. I just won the ballon dor.

If Dickinson is able to replicate the brilliance that they displayed against WAC I can see them running over Hopkins tonight. Then again, it is easy to get carried away with their hype and forget the poise and experience Hop brings to the table in these games. This will be an incredibly exciting game that will have lots to show. My prediction is that Dickinson barely edges past Hop based off of their run of form and momentum.

F&M v Muhlenburg will play out much like this fixture has in the past. These two teams have met now for three consecutive post-seasons!! I see this game going to F&M based off of their home form and the drop off that the Mules have seen in their offensive output.

Yeah, Dickinson did crush against WC. Maybe they can do it again. However, I definitely thought JHU outplayed Dickinson last time at Hop. Could see it going to pks.

Yeah, Red Devil v. Shorepeople result really shocked me. And it goes all the way back to preseason when I put out the question: Was WAC's run to the F4 a fluke, or could they sustain that success.

I'd say there's not a clear answer, but losing 6-1 to ANYONE is a crazy result.

With that said, I don't really buy Dickinson coming to Baltimore and boat racing the Jays. While Hop had a few bounces go their way, I think the consensus on here of those that watched was that 4-2 was about the right final score. Tonight won't be a cake walk... I see a 2-2, go to PKs as easily as I see a 2-1 win for either side.

I think the Devils will be highly motivated for some payback, but I also think the Jays are firing on all cylinders and I'm not aware of any injuries that should hinder their game.

Evidently the sabbatical has done wonders for your humor.  Believe this is 2 in a row from you that made me laugh.

Tough week.  Realizing the sabbatical will be woefully insufficient.  I am now in the market for the Rip Van Winkle Experience Elite Package....and willing to pay well above the retail price tag.  Despise coupons.

Btw, I've had an incredible sense of humor for decades...just not so much when I'm miserable, and I frequently seem to be miserable.

Yeah, the team with best colors mirroring the best state flag making the Final Four was stunning, but teams definitely can get hot, plus facing the right opponents plus great coaching . . .  Look at St Olaf!! Who would have think that??

Definitely see tie or one goal game and low scoring. Remember Dickinson did not score till 10 or 15 min into the 2nd half and scored 2 in the next 3 or 4 mins. Game was over right then so 6-1 while a lot, it could have less or more. Just they were done after the 3rd goal. Just sad to see Anthony Pinto's possible last college game being this one.

SierraFD3soccer

Oh yeah, also being able to take a PK seems to be an underappreciated skill!!! >:(  >:(

Hopkins Walk-On

Dickinson has had by far the better of the play in the first half. They have been way more aggressive and better in possession than they were a week ago. Still 0-0 though.

Hopkins Walk-On

Mules 2, Dips 0 at half. Haven't seen any of that game though.

SierraFD3soccer

Good first half by the Muhls. Goals are goals.

F&M has to figure out a way to finish. Way too many opportunities that they haven't been able to capitalize.

First one was a bit of a fluke, but second not good defense.
