Just saw this shared on ncaa.com:

2024 NCAA DIII football tournament schedule
Selection show: Sunday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. ET on NCAA.com
First round: Monday, Nov. 18
Second round: Monday, Nov. 25
Quarterfinals: Monday, Dec. 2
Semifinals: Monday, Dec. 9 on ESPN+
National championship: Sunday, Dec. 15 on ESPNU

These dates can't be correct, right? Like all of them other than the selection show.

I hope it's a mistake.  Can you imagine being picked for the first round? You wouldn't have any time to prepare for your opponent or even to make travel arrangements! If these dates are correct the NCAA just gave DIII the middle finger.
12-0 = 13

Dr. Acula

I would hope they mean the week of Monday 11/18 etc.

Always love a good Rocky P blast.

As for DeShields, West Branch is notorious for keeping their elite athletes back a year so they're older in high school. It's rumored all of the DeShields brothers did it, and most of the star players in West Branch's recent run also utilized this strategy.

So what I'm saying is he was old as a True Freshman X years ago.

Massillon has been doing this forever.  Watch the Documentary "Go Tigers!"

and somehow that schedule would make more sense than playing the Stagg Bowl in January, in Texas, against the last Sunday of the NFL season.

I believe all of the rounds are streamed on ESPN+ as well.

Mount Union football getting a lot of air time on ESPN lately with the Pat McAfee Show, and Nick Sirianni on today.  I guess "the standard" is still the only D3 program that can move the needle

You guys just gotta hope North Central is on the other side of the bracket  ;D

Zoom button on the video feed camera must be broken.  Can we be any farther from the action?  Where are they shooting it from, up in a tree?

Muskingum has got that nice gym/pressbox that they built. But the height of it it makes their games un-enjoyable to watch now, its like watching a game of ants.

D3fanboy

This might be the most passes over the middle in years for Mount....and was the QB just under center?

Deshields and the new offense is looking pretty good so far
