Gary is talking to VOJ about the post-game tension.  Doesn't come close to the post game brawl between Michigan and Ohio State that just happened.

The cops broke out the pepper spray.

When you can't beat the team on the field, etc.
But doesn't surprise me -the refs let a lot go that could have helped to stop that crap

I think I would rather play Wartburg again than try to beat bethel 3 times in one year

Right. Was it Mendez that got hit out of bounds? He wasn't even in the white. He was past that into the green and had taken at least three steps out of bounds when he got shoved. Wasn't a big hit, but it knocked him over. Should have been a penalty.

It was the opposite of the Pac Lutheran games from '98 to '01. Well played games and great sportsmanship.

Johnnies still run plays - like those plays they run from the diamond formation - that they stole from PAC Lutheran because they had a hard time defending them.

Attaboy!

Good thing they had a 10 minute "cool down" period after the game before kids and parents got on the field. SJU players winding up players and fans waving them goodbye seems pretty minimal considering the pre, half-time, and in game smack talk. Will gladly take the post game middle finger and win.

Slow start for BU today. We weren't committed to the run enough early with the cold weather and wind. Drews also wasn't his sharpest in the first half.

AJ Jackson was as advertised. We had a missed run fit on his long TD, but he had juice on the edge. LF short passing game and WR quickness was a challenge.

DeWall had two blocked punts today.

LF had atrocious clock management. Had to waste all their TO's in both halves on random plays where they didn't get the call in on time. Qb was tough. He got hammered on multiple plays and kept battling.

Definitely.  I remember him from '21 in Collegeville.  He's a game changer!

Nice post game write up introducing the latest horse in the stable and how that play came about.

"The play - a bit of gadgetry that saw the Johnnies shift the entire right side of the offensive line to the left - was the brainchild of running backs coach Josh Bungum '16 and wasn't put in until midway through this past week."

Johnnies zero turnovers and 75 yards rushing... also that 69 yard screen play was pretty much a run.
Duff's all important time of possession was won by UW-Lax

Will this season's quarterfinals & semifinals be played at the highest remaining seeds?
