That's a key play in the Sus playbook! Big one against Johnnies last week too.

Ice Bear

Bethel in trouble here late in the fourth. Great game so far.

Strange timeout for Sus before the fourth-down play. Gives Bethel this last chance.

Retired Old Rat

Crushing loss. Where was the hold?

How the ****, IMHO, do you call a ****ing hold at the LOS, on the last play of the game? Did I see that right?

I'd love to see a replay of that holding call. That's some home cookin.

There wasn't. It was a total screw job.

Heart breaking loss for Bethel. Never behind the whole way until the final 30 seconds. Wild finish - still looked like they pulled it out with a td pass to Kidder with no time left, but the refs decided to call a holding penalty and negate the touchdown. None the less, it was a great season for Bethel.

Blew two calls that cost bethel the game.

I rewatched the false start. Not sure how that's on bethel.

The hold seemed questionable, too.

And I thought the game could end on an offensive penalty. No?

TheChucker

I guarantee you there won't be any replays made available for the Hail Mary that wasn't.

BiggieSmalls

I believe the hold was on the RB who was helping with the RT. He grabbed jersey of DE. Probably didn't need to as that DE was not likely to make a tackle on QB by his release.

Yes, it can if the defense declines the penalty. But they couldn't decline it otherwise the td would count.

Ice Bear

This quarterfinal game should have been decided by Bethel scoring on the last play of the game and Susquehanna giving up a touchdown on the last play of the game...this is VERY unfortunate.

With that said, and I'll probably say it over and over again, Bethel had a great season and played their hearts out today.

On the flip side, that PI call on Sus on 2nd and 10 from the Bethel 40 was questionable.

But, Bethel really got screwed.
