Really?  NC could have had at least three more TDs if they had passed on every play.  The secondary couldn't make a play, and there was no pressure on the QB.  Mount's offense missed opportunities, the defense lost the game.

Tonight's attendance in the soccer stadium was 1,938 another failure by the NCAA I guess they'll never figure it out oh wait I almost forgot it's all about the MONEY it belongs back in Salem VA or Canton Ohio PERIOD!!!!

I have a card table and 4 chairs that we are about to give to Goodwill.  The 4 folding chairs are solid (never used), but to be transparent, the table legs buckle in the face of a:
- Father-in-law
- Re-recording of NCC Stagg Bowl replays
- Mother-in-laws's green bean casserole

There is the point [multiple points] where the players must execute ... but be in the position where the coaches' decisions can allow them to be successful.

As a Texan I can't fight to keep it here but attendance in Canton was worse at 1,830. Perhaps next year it will be better especially if Mount Union gets back to it, of course attendance was better in Texas when UMHB was there too.

Certainly seems like the attendance issue comes largely down to whether (and weather) one of the "close" powers makes it. Even then what can you expect? You're not going to fill (or even half fill) these stadiums.

It's all about who gives the NCAA the best financial package.

Case in point, the soccer championships last month were held in Las Vegas.  Nobody in their right mind would think that makes sense.

The secondary cannot cover their own shadows, the backup quarterback came from one of many MAC schools masquerading as a FBS program (MAC bringing in mighty UMESS to replace NIU), and the coach cannot coach his way out of a paper bag. It is an unfortunate reality, but clear that upgrades are needed in all these areas if Mount Union wants to win another title. Until then, we can chat and hypothesize like they do on the SEC Network about all the greatness and coulda woulda shoulda scenarios.

Congratulations to the the team, coaches and fans for a great season. There are 238 teams that wish they could have played in the Stagg Bowl. We expect a lot each year, and again made it to the Stagg Bowl. Mt Union players never gave up, they just ran into a better team lat night. I expect them to be successful next your and hopefully make it back to the Stagg Bowl. Most Union has set the standard in D3 football and other teams have stepped up. Even so, Mount made it back.

As CaliRaider said, Fans are supposed to support the team. All of this negative talk about the coaches is ridiculous. Coach Dart has taken teams to 2 Stagg Bowls, not many coaches can say that. His won/loss record is excellent. Let the coaches coach. Leave all of the negativity alone, support the team. Let's hope for another successful season next year.
