Nice road win by the Bluejays.  I am not sure that one result totally changes my impression of them, but, I did think that they had a chance to go lose out.  That certainly will not happen now.

As for the games tonight, give me Webster in a rock fight (o/u 116) and give me the Funny-Bone to win on the road by 3.

Hopefan - if you are peeking in at this board, I would love it if you would give the current league standings the Hopefan ratings system treatment.  I have tried to search for previous iterations on the board, but I don't think I know how to search very well.  I recall there were certain points for home wins and road wins.  Certain negative points for home losses, etc.  It was always fun to follow your breakdown of the league through the Hopefan ratings lens. "Hope" you see this... :)

Fontbonne at Eureka must have been a good one given the closeness of the score. Eureka wins 78-77.

Another close one in the Beaverdome -- Gorloks 75, Beavers 71 -- showing just how tough it is for the Gorloks to play there. But a win is a win.

GU1999... hopefan just turned 75... he doesn't remember the top secret formula..

2 great down to the wire games last night.. I miss the SLIAC and going to the various sites so much....

I peeked in to the two games around 8p central last night.  Conclusions were drawn and I moved on with the evening.  The scores when I checked in could not have been more misleading...

When I checked in to the Webster at Blackburn game, I watched Webster score right before half to take a 44-23 lead.  Easy breezy... Blow out for the Gorlocks.  Final score WEbster holds on to win 75-71.  :o

Then I clicked over to ECTV to see how that game was going.  FU had taken a commanding 43-28 lead after EU had turned it over on three consecutive possessions.  Easy breezy ... road win going away for the Griffins.  also mistaken...
Final score... EU 78-77

This is not a valid excuse, young man.

GU1999... didn't I read that Greenville had an incoming freshman that was pushing 7' tall... I don't see him on any of the Greenville rosters... did he come to Gville or go elsewhere?  Or did he make the decision not to play?   Curious....

Last I knew he was still enrolled at the college.  He is a social media influencer with his family.  His dad, who played at GU, and was all conf twice I think, works at the school and primarily runs the social media accounts for their brand "that tall family".  With 10s of billions of views across all platforms.  Yes, with a B.

How many teams will be playing in the conference tourney??

Hopefan... we need the formula...  we learned yesterday that you remembered that there was a 7'1" GU recruit 2 years ago.  We know you remember it.   (Read with TV crime show voice)... "Now hand over the formula!"  😂

I think providing the formula and letting GU1999 do the work is a reasonable way to keep the hopefan standings alive.

Although I wouldn't presume to speak for hopefan, I believe the formula is pretty simple.

Home win is worth 0
Road win is worth +1
Home loss is worth -1
