Unranked UW-Stevens Point is now 11-1. I heard the Hilltop is considering putting their away games on the big screen. If they serve their fish fry on Wednesday or Saturdays I am in.  ;)

I am impressed with Oshkosh winning (12-0) and so highly ranked without 5th year Bridget Froehlke, who is out due to injury. If she ever returns Titans will be even better. Alex Rondorf's scoring and potential replacement to Froehlke hasn't really materialized yet.

Froehlke (5'8) indeed is a big loss. She averaged 11.59 pts/30 min and 2.86 reb/30 min last year, over 704 min.

The three-headed incoming monster of Rondorf, Beyer, Seckar have been great.

Rondorf (5'10) 8.22 pts/30min, 4.97 reb/30min
Beyer (5'6) 13.15 pts/30min, 2.30 reb/30min
Seckar (6'0) 11.39 pts/30min, 6.74 reb/30min

The length of Seckar and Rondorf have made an already good defense VERY good.

I am impressed with Seckar's transition to the college game. She was basically a one person show on West as a point forward, on let's face it an average West team, and drew the main defenses all time. Beating Ziebell head to head at the end of the year was impressive. She's fit in nicely on the Titans as a role player off the bench in the post.

Lady Dawgs with a big W over Whitewater.  Might be two NCAA titles in Point this year.

ChickenHoops

First Hilltop away WBB game and our Lady Dawgs lose.  At Quandt watching the Pointer MBB now.  This one in the balance, Point getting back in the game. The end zone beer swillers appear to be energized.

Dawg ladies lose on the road.  This Hilltop road game show isn't working out too well.

I couldn't make it today, was invited to the Point beer garden at Quandt. Don't like the end zone view but the beer was cold.  Pointers won but weren't too impressive except Kromm in OT.

No Hilltop viewing party for the Oshkosh game.  It's just down the road, go watch them play ! My sense is the Pointers will win big at Quandt so get to Oshkosh and cheer on the lady Dawgs.

ChickenHoops

Well the Hilltop missed a good one. Dawgs hung with the Titans right to the end.  50-54 L

Double wammy Wednesday night for the Pointers, but wouldn't have predicted either outcome at all.

UW-O bus must have broken down on the way to RF.  Shocking loss, although my Lady Dawgs hung last Wednesday.

Didn't looks like anything too significant happened injury wise, but Seckar went out with 53 seconds left in the first quarter and didn't return. Absolutely changed the game and changed the Titans.

She is a force, put down the Dawgs. Her brother is adding to the Titan men's success as well.  Their father Frank was a great player at Vanderbilt.

Seckar right back in playing her regular game last night in Platteville to help the Titans get back on track. Second on the team with 12 points. Seckar sitting out the last three quarters in River Falls remains a bit of a mystery.
