WARHAWKS avenge earlier loss blowing out the Lady Dawgs 70-54.  Carollo leads the way with a double/double 22/11 and adds 5 assists.  Thompson has a big night for Point with her 28/12 double/double.

Lady Dawgs have a tough one tonight at River Falls.  River Falls only blemish on Oshkosh record.

Trying to confirm a showing at the Hilltop.

Wow. That's about all I can say about the game at Kolf last night. Still processing it. Might have to watch it again as well. But......wow.

While it would probably be a long shot, I'd be curious if administration would give any thought to hiring Coach Fischer for the Badgers Women's Basketball position, assuming he'd have interest in the position?

I wonder if he could duplicate what Borseth did at UWGB and build a program around kids from the state and breathe some much needed life into what appears to be a dying program. We've seen coaches make the jump from the WIAC to power programs in the past (however there is usually a stop in between along the way) (Bo Ryan, Kathi Bennett, Lisa Stone, Lance Leipold, etc..) so it's not totally far fetched to think he could be the next in a line of coaches to experience the same success.

Thoughts?

Can he get past the DEI screening at UW?  Great coach.

Lady Dawgs host the Titans tonight.  Titans are a strong team but I see the Dawgs in it to win it.

Oshkosh wins WIAC outright tonight. Had Stout won final two, there would've been a coin flip for top two seeds.

I always love fun little stats that really mean nothing, but the EC bench got a warning from the officials with about 30 seconds remaining in the first half. UWO outscored them 37-11 from that point on. But a fun night to grab WIAC title #16.

WHITEWATER'S Kaci Carollo is either first(6) or second(3) in the eleven WIAC statistical categories.  She's 13th and 6th in the other two categories.  If she isn't the POY there is something wrong with the voting.

Yeah, there's no question with that.

If everything goes according to Hoyle, the Lady Dawgs will travel to Oshkosh on Thursday for the WIAC semis. Dad is covering the coops so I intend to drive down.

Will the WIAC allow the Titans to sell beer there? I have a few buddies who won't go to the game with me if they can't have at least a couple. Yes, they have a problem.

Lady Dawgs laid an egg at Berg Gym. No trip to Oshkosh. Uggh.

Really just a bad second half. First half was fine. No defense in second half compared to first.
