Drew is very good & Catholic is as well.
And, to think CUA is in the hunt after losing their top 2 players as D1 transfers this year is a credit to their other kids & coaching staff.
Seriously...what would the Royals record be if they lost Spatola & Will after last season?
Time for new faces & fresh ideas on the sidelines of Royalville.

Hey let's not look past Wilkes. We would play the 3rd seed and have the chance for Wilkes to beat us for a third time this year.

Actually that might be fun, maybe they could fill the Marts Center.

Marts Madness! Brings back 1998!

Seriously, though, the 6 seed plays the 3, not the 1 or 2.

yeah, that's a bad job by me!

Royals win @ Lyco and Etown loses @ Drew should mean that the Royals clinch the 6th playoff spot. McLoughlin did not play(reason unknown). From following on live stats, Mason Thompson had the game that we thought he was capable of playing throughout his career. Khoza contributed significantly, also.
If they have indeed clinched the playoff spot, I'd sit Spatola and McLoughlin on Saturday to eliminate the chance of injury and provide some rest. To win the AQ, they'll have to win 3 games in 5 days, a strenuous undertaking.

Per Dean on the women's telecast...Will hurt his back in practice.

Thanks for the info - WUSR is down so I couldn't listen to Dean on the broadcast. Let's hope the injury was soft tissue rather than something spinal. They'll need him in good shape on Tuesday.

That would be the 1st in a very long time that Dean has mentioned a player's unavailability before/during a game for any(injury, illness, academic, discipline, coach's decision, etc.) reason. There's been plenty of opportunities this season(Manley, Brown, Lebisky), the 5 who sat out the 2nd semester last year, and Mathews-Spratley 2 years ago. I'll even add Ruisi  ::) this season.

After checking the standings and tomorrow's schedule, there's a possibility that Scranton's 3-seed opponent on Tuesday might be Susque instead of Wilkes; it would require Susque beating Drew @ home and Wilkes losing @ Goucher tomorrow.

ronk

The Royals played creditably today, despite missing McLoughlin, Ruisi, Lebisky, and Pellachan. Will Marion and Sammy Tornabene were the most effective.
Next up  - Wilkes in the conference quarterfinals Tuesday. Need to win 3 in row for the AQ.

Great Day to be a Royal

Let's see what tonight brings. A disappointing regular season is behind them. Hate the cliche, "tough to beat someone three times", but let's see if they learned anything from the previous meetings.

Go Royals

Congratulations on Drew's first every top 25 appearance.

Scranton comes out and plays great ball in the first half and then goes on a scoring drought of 7 minutes to open the 2nd half.

Not sure what Danzig's halftime speech consisted of but I'd suggest he re-write it.
Oh wait, the season's over.
Never mind.  ???
