Kyra ties her career high with 16 points which was set back on Nov. 15th., 2019 (in her 1st. game as a freshman).
Kaeli ran the inside out game to perfection & on the defensive end several Lady Royals joined to hold Anna Scoblick to only 2 points all afternoon.
Great job both defensively & offensively.
Congrats to Ben, all his coaches & most certainly all the kids for another outstanding season and a 10th. straight title.  :)

 Didn't remember that!

According to Scotty Dawg's NPI figures as of now, the Lady Royals are a lock for a top 4 seed, currently #3. The bad news is that Bowdoin has moved ahead of NYU into the #1 spot, pending their game tomorrow. Scranton should be hoping for a Bowdoin loss which should drop them behind NYU into the #2 spot. That way, the Lady Royals couldn't face NYU til the NCAA final.

Trying to figure out how a Bowdoin win over Amherst (31st.) moved them more statistically than a Scranton win over CUA (16th.).
Oh well, the Colby/Bowdoin game will be interesting since the Lady Royals pretty easily handled the Mules back in late Dec.
However, teams continue to evolve & late Dec. almost seems like a lifetime ago. ;)
Just a great overall game yesterday vs. Catholic.
The kids were absolutely prepared for everything thrown at them.
Here's to hoping for the best!

Bowdoin's NPI went up by 0.531.

Scranton's NPI went up by 0.951.

Scranton's win over CUA moved them more statistically than Bowdoin's win over Amherst did.

What a great job all around!Kaeli Romanowski not only received MVP she made sure to take Catholics pg Keegan Douglas out of the game. Her pressure defense and her hustle is something to watch.Lets go......Go Mules today I said earlier in the year Colby is a good team. Can they beat Bowdoin at Bowdoin will have to see!!

Great game up at Bowdoin.Colby led until 34 seconds to go.Up 10(51-41 Colby)going into the 4th quarter,I will never understand why coaches stop attacking the basket!Instead of attacking the basket they used up the shot clock and rushed a couple bombs Whhhhhhyyyyyy?Bowdoin 63-59 they out scored them 22-8.

For the Lady Royals, this is reminiscent of 2019, the most recent time they made the Final 4. If all goes according to chalk, they'll face the beast(NYU, v St Thomas More in 2019, in the semis) with Bowdoin waiting in the final.

No one is beating NYU this year.  I coached d3 women's hoops for over 20 years, and NYU is the most balanced and deepest team I've ever seen. No disrespect to Scranton or anyone else. NYU is on another level.

 Scranton pod prediction: 8 seed - Trinity(CT), 9 seed - S VA, 15 seed - Mt St Mary
As an outlier, Bowdoin gets 1st choice among the seed possibilities; there are fewer choices for them that are within bussing limits.

Don't think you'll find an arguement here.

and if the committee is protecting #1 Bowdoin's Sectional hosting chances first, THEN #2 NYUs, THEN #3 Scranton's, could be that Scranton is not set up to host Sectionals if chalk gets through.

In Ryan Scott's mock bracket on Hoopsville, chalk of Scranton, UW-Whitewater, Gustavus Adolphus, UW-Oshkosh would almost ensure Scranton will not host Sectionals.

Then why have Seedings and NPI,They mean nothing then?

Augie2020

You can't sit hear and say they protect the top 4 seeds and then say well we can ship Scranton off to such and such. Why even have this NPI just to get screwed over!Makes no sense!!!
